Very pleasant wait staff but average food for the price.

We ate there as it is adjacent to the Old Town Trolley and since we were walking it was a clean, attractive and pleasant restaurant. we enjoyed the friendly staff but thought the food was good but only average. We didn't have the time to search out other restaurants but there are others close by.

I had lunch here with a girlfriend. It was blah. She had the fish and chips which looked like fish nuggets. I had the lobster salad roll which was actually okay. Fries were meh. Service was meh.

Had really great food, there was a 2 Maine Lobster for some thing like $34 and we each ordered a plate. The portions were good as was the food. Unfortunately, we happened to get lousy service. We had to flag down our server twice, once to get the order corrected and again just to get the ticket.

Spent two enjoyable days in Boston as part of our Trafalgar Tour of Eastern USA and Canada. On our free afternoon we walked the markets area and stumbled upon Tia's for lunch. Buffalo wings to share for a starter and wife and I had fish and chips for main. Very enjoyable washed down by a couple of Stella Artois beers.... More

The location cannot be beat; near the terminus for tour buses and wharf for harbor cruises, across from a small park. Outdoor tables for watching the scene or indoors, for either a pub or restaurant setting. We ate excellent, light meals there twice, both times seafood, Tia's speciality; the prices were medium, well-worth the location.

We stopped in for lunch after a bus tour. Casual restaurant with a menu slanted toward seafood which was expected. We got seated right away and our service was really great. My wife and I shared a cod fish and chips plate plus I got the New England clam chowder both were really good. The cod had an excellent batter... More

The food was amazing! We had swordfish fish tacos, blackened salmon, and crabcake sandwiches. All of it was delicious! We went on a Saturday night for dinner and the place was pretty busy. The weather was beautiful that evening so their outside seating was packed. We were inside but the doors were open so we still had some nice fresh... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
