The Kinsale has a good selection of beer, the clam chowder was above average but their entrees were quite bland. My wife found the bangers and mash to lack in terms if flavor and my chicken and dumplings really should have been called gnocchi and chicken stock as it really didn't have much chicken and the "dumplings" were gnocchi. We visited the restaurant on a weekend & it was busy. The food was good & served quickly. Two of our favorites were the Shepherds Pie and the 4 onion soup - both were tasty. The chocolate Guinness cake was good, too, just a bit dry. Loved the location, the setting, and the music.

What a brilliant little bar and restaurant that made my day by selling Magners cider, which I had been looking for for 10 days at that point. Lovely traditional food and friendly and helpful service. Great wee find!

A mixed crew joined us for brunch at this restaurant steps away from Faneuil Hall. Many of us started drinking early, getting set for our pub crawl. A few had little ones in high chairs and split after brunch. We were all happy here. Not a huge fan of breakfast out, I opted for some lunch options which were also... More

Been to the Kinsale a few times and it's the same thing every time. They have terrible service, you will wait 20 minutes for a waiter to come over. Though the food is always good. Stop at cvs for some peanuts first if you are really hungry.

This restaurant is on the lowest floor of the building I work so I have been here several times over the last few years. The food is certainly adequate but I wouldn't call it upscale. Standard pub fare sometimes with a twist. I find the service/food better in the evening. Lunchtime service can be slower. I have been disappointed by... More

Food here was very tasty, I enjoyed a great Shepards Pie, and those with me were very complimentary of every item ordered. Service was efficient, and the Kinsdale was honoring Veterans with a free dinner. That says a lot for the management of this restaurant. Parking in the garage was convenient and the atmosphere was relaxing. Good food and good... More

Went here with a party of 20 business colleagues for beers and dinner. Nice crowd, informal, fun, good fresh beer, cool decor. The Shepherd's Pie had cheese on top, not the potato crust I expected, but it was still good! Reasonably priced - even with gratuity it was about $700 for our crowd. Definitely recommend this one.

Daughter & I visited Boston for a conference (me) and college searches (she). Although from the West Coast, we have relatives from (Japan and) Ireland living here, and asked for suggestions of where to meet. The Irish lad chose another, smaller spot to meet the next day (that is another review), however for just daughter and myself he suggested this.... More

This restaurant is very nice. You can get a little different Irish heritage and the different beers they make. They have outside seating and sit and watch all the busy traffic. The food is awesome and you get a large portion for the money.
