While visiting our kids in Boston, we craved Indian food for dinner. We were five, four of us vegetarians. We did not look at the menu, just asked the waiter to recommend. Service was friendly and expeditious. All of us truly enjoyed our meails. And while we gave the waiter total freedom to order our food, the total bill was... More

This has become my favorite option for Indian take out. They deliver in 15 minutes and the food is always hot. Their naan is thick and a little chewy in a good way and they'll make your food actually spicy if you ask. The restaurant itself is lovely for a meal out. Perfect for a date night that feels fancy... Went here with a Groupon on a Friday night in Sep. The area is very seedy looking at night with winos hanging out nearby and the smell of weed in the air. The restaurant was very dimly lit and it became apparent why later on. We ordered a lot of appetizers and food. The appetizers came out right away. The... More

Been there on a Tripadvisor suggestion and OMG we didńt regret it a second. The food is awsome, the place is charming, the service is good and prices are really decent. If you enjoy real Indian food and you're in Jamaica Plain, go eat there. You won't regret it!

A friend took me to this restaurant for lunch. A lovely place and they served excellent food. The portions were good and the food wasn't too spicy. There is also ample parking at the back.

My and my family favorite place to go out. Chicken Tikamasala, creamy and spicy is my favorite. Just watch out at buffet lunch time not to over eat, otherwise it is great time to try different things.

We went to Bukhara after visiting Arnold Arboretum. It is conveniently close to the Arboretum. I was surprised to see beef curry there, because I had never seen beef in any Indian restaurant's menu. The staff were nice and accommodating. I tried the veggie samosa, chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, and eggplant dish. The others tried a potato stew and... More

Located in Centre Street in the heart of Jamaica Plains, or "JP" in Boston, Bukhara offers a casual ambience with an outstanding and quite delectable buffet and very curteous servers, at a reasonable price. You can top your visit to JP with ice cream from JP licks, a block away. Cheers!

Three of us went for a Saturday lunch buffet. We were very happy both with the selection and the quality. Not too spicy and very tasty. We've been to many Indian buffets and this was definitely one of the better ones. Included was a choice of tea or juice, appetizers, hot and cold mains, several veggie dishes and some sweet... More

My first visit there and I loved it. It's a great value for "all you can eat". They have many vegetarian options and great bread. The staff are friendly and the place is very convenient for me who works in that area. Parking is not so easy to be found, but with a little patient anyone can find it.
