Boston Family Vacation

This is a hidden gem for lunch. They are in back Bay Area, near the Prudential center. This place serves great hamburgers and fries but their Po Boys sandwiches are amazing. If you are here in Boston with your family and on a budget this is a place you want to try. The food is very good and will... read more

The food wasn't very good but a decent price. Not a very large variety of beer selection but they were only about $6 for 22oz draft. I probably come back.

We come here every Sunday after curling! We love the cozy booths and upbeat music that keeps the atmosphere lively! They also have TV's on the wall showing the latest sports! We enjoy their sliders, burgers and great sandwich selection! They make a great Martini! The servers are youthful, energetic and attentive to your needs! Even when it gets busy... More

We stopped in Sunday morning for breakfast. It was ok, but nothing special. The service was well meaning but a bit chaotic - the home fries were deep fried and the coffee watery.

Always a favorite place to stop in, The Pour House offers great food at a cheaper price than most pubs. Can go and watch sports, relax or even go downstairs and enjoy the music. Love the Pour House!

We were staying at the Sheraton and found the Pour House as its a close walk. We were given a great welcome, plenty of choice for drinks and a typical bar menu which deliver super food at a great price and quickly. We visited a second time and the manager remembered our drink order and we were warmly welcomed back.... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
