Great Atmosphere for an Afternoon Drink!

We stopped in while waiting to meet people, and this was a great choice!! We found a seat right at the bar, even though the place was full! They were serving Sunday brunch which looked like huge portions. The service was a little disorganized and we had 3 different people help us, but overall I... read more

This bar and grill offers decent food and a great selection of beer. The upstairs frequently gets crowded, but the bartenders are polite and the giant beers are a huge plus.

Came here for a down and dirty burger. I got one. It was okay. The space was like a classic bar meets frat house, with wood booth seating with all kinds of distracting decor. Plenty of beer on tap...but it just didn't taste right. I ordered a smothered mushroom burger and subbed the fries with mash. Bad move. The mash... More

After reading the breakfast reviews, we decided to go to the Pour House for breakfast, and we thought the reviews were far too generous. We both ordered the French Toast, and both of us were disappointed by it. The food was only luke warm, and the egg the bread was dipped in pulled a part from the bread. The French... More

Our hotel recommended The Pour House for breakfast on our last morning and what a great recommend that was! We had friendly service and a very reasonably priced, huge, breakfast! The Piggy had everything and more piled on the plate and it was delicious and certainly set us up for the day. The only downside is that we found it... More

The breakfasts were really great- huge portions, and prepared well. I had the french toast breakfast and it was excellent- a little too much meat on the plate for me, but my boyfriend enjoyed the extras. The Bloody Mary was the best I've ever had! Excellent place for a relaxed, casual brunch.

yummy!!!! Try the cornbread waffle and the spicy sausage, you won't be disappointed. Hubby and I ate there for under $20.00. What a great price for a restaurant right in the middle of everything. Can't beat the price. We actually ate breakfast there twice during our weekend stay. Great hostess, overall don't miss out, this place is definitely worth trying.

If you can get in there for breakfast or lunch it will be worth the wait. The food is great and the portions are HUGE. A great beer selection and their award winning Bloody Marys are a must try..A great family restaurant.

We got into Boston early on New Years Day and couldn't check into our hotel just yet, so we wondered downtown and stumbled upon Pour House. Doesn't look like much but the food was phenomenal. I had the cornbread waffle, AMAZING! Service was quick and friendly even though they were slammed. Will go back next time we're in town.

Have loved the bar since I moved here in the early 90s and still do. But this year I discovered their delish breakfast. Tons of choices and everything that we have tried has been great and the prices can't be beat. It gets busy but just wait until a table clears and claim it for your own. Chicken and waffles... More
