Nice dinner out

Our family enjoyed our dinner here quite well. I had an oyster Po boy and a raw oyster, both of which I thought tasted great. My wife had a Caesar salad (not really a seafood person) but she really liked the salad. Our son had the kids hot dog and Sundae which he clearly was thrilled with. Our... read more

I went in saturday as I was in the mood for lobster. My server was great pleasant and attentive. There was a $25 lobster roll on the menu so got that. I assumed it being a seafood place and at that price would be a good size portion but wasn't. Basically a hotdog bun size and not overflowing at all.... More

I've been there last weekend, traveling alone. I ordered a lobster and I really had a great time! I enjoyed it so much! It's such a must if you're traveling in Boston. The people is nice, they've been so fast and kind. I forgot my credit card when I paid, and I reported it, so the manager helped me to... More

Our trip to the New England State's put us in Boston. I found this restaurant to be awesome. At home in Maui, I do not buy fish, I catch it. The Summer Shack had the fish I wanted. Plenty oysters, crab and lobster. I even found a small pearl in one oyster. Great food and good prices. Great wait-help.

They serve 2 styles of lobster roll here. I ordered the cold one, and it left me cold. the bread was more like a hot-dog bun than a hoagie roll, and the filling was rather bland. To be fair, I'm not a big seafood lover, but they did nothing to try to change my mind. Some of the others I... More

We had dinner last night at the Summer Shack...enjoyed swordfish with a maple bourbon sauce...wilted greens...little necks...oysters on the shell....fish and chips...and steak tips. Calimari with hot peppers was exquisite. Buffalo chicken wings were devoured, and shrimp cocktail was generous and fresh. Every meal was delicious, and the swordfish was perfectly medium rare...exactly as ordered. Irish soda bread was easily... More

I showed up at 6:15 at a Monday night. Many empty tables but the host told me I could only sit at the bar because they were short staff. I almost left. Bar was crowded of course, and folks were drinking. Thankfully my lobster roll came quickly. the bun was toasted as it should have been, and the chunks of... More

The service in summer shack was really good, and we were a 30 people party. The cornbread and the home made butter Were excelent. I choose the sirloin and gulf Shrimp. The sirloin taste was really good and the garlic sauce with the shrimp was amazing. Come with salad and fries. Average price for this kind of restaurants (15-20dls) and... More
