Very good

It wasn't cheap as others have said but the food was very good, portions were good and service was very good. My wife and I both had the wood grilled lobster my son had the salmon and my daughter had the snow crab legs. The snow crab portion was huge! Selection of beers was good and overall a good... read more

We were recommended to try out the Summer Shack. It was good but not great. Sure I will get fresher food elsewhere on my vacation in Boston.

The food was OK, not bad , not great. Just OK....and not cheap as reviewed by some people. I found much better quality food and for about the same price at restaurants by the harbor. would not waste my time and money here.

All American lobster and the likes. And some very decent wines on the list. Still, this is not a posh place to go to. Ate there twice. Good fun, nice staff.

Was taken here by the in- laws and was very surprised. Had grilled sardines to start with an olive tepanade over field greens to start, followed by an oyster bahn mi. Super fresh and we'll balanced. Would definitely recommend.

They were very busy when we were there.....service was good....food was very good. Chowder was not served in a bread bowl.....it was very good. More clams than expected. Fish and chips were very tasty.

Great place to eat! Friendly, funny staff and wicked food. The chowder was awesome, the Buffalo shrimp was great and the pan roasted lobster was best lobster I have had in a long time. Guaranteed to produce if looking for a fun night out with family or friends... Maybe not my family ;)

I went to the Summer Shack in Dedham last night for drinks and some appetizers with my wife to start the night off. We started by ordering one of the specials they had which was shrimp stuffed with blue cheese which sounded strange but figured we would try it. There was no taste of blue cheese and the shrimp were... More

We like to stop here for drinks. My family and I stay at the Sheraton right next door so Summer Shack is very convenient. The dinners can be a little pricey but lots of things in Boston are pricey. They have a yummy yummy Mojito.

Hotel recommended this local restaurant. Went for lunch and the selection of fresh local seafood was amazing. Tried the lobster roll and it was great! Thru even meek their own buns! The selection is great and I can tell you I had my fair share of fresh lobster. Service was good as well!! Don't miss it if you go to... More
