Take advantage of the patio!

This place has an eclectic menu and a wonderful patio. If the weather is nice, make sure to sit outside and enjoy the intimate and green courtyard. The staff are friendly and the food is amazing. My spouse and I enjoyed the lobster mac & cheese and the meatloaf!

Great place. Food was the best! Lobster mac n' cheese was to die for. Wait staff was very friendly & genuinely glad we were there. We had Philly steak spring rolls which were surprisingly excellent. Great atmosphere.

This is a very cute restaurant from the inside and out. They have a small outdoor garden seating area that is perfect for lunch or dinner. The server Maria greeted us warmly upon seating us. She took our drink orders right away and they were spot on. I had the Hendricks gin and tonic, very refreshing and the martini was... More

We went there on a Wednesday night, it wasn't really busy. The food was great, we had the lobster mac and cheese and the pan seared duck. The service was cold, our server didn't refill our wine glasses and never asked us if the food was to our liking. He dropped the check on the table while we didn't ask... More

Visited this little restaurant during the Boston restaurant week. They certainly did put a very good three course menu together, at a very reasonable price. It feels - in good (mostly) and bad - a family-run neighborhood restaurant, which you don't stumble upon, unless you follow the locals and the reviews.

Delicious! I had the salmon, grilled to perfection with quinoa and asparagus. Wonderful ambiance - warm, welcoming, a lovely little niche in the middle of run of the mill Dot. I can't wait to go back in summer. They also had a fantastic assortment of interesting beers to choose from- many of which I've never heard of. Nice job, 224!!

This restaurant was our first stop getting out of the airport and made quite an impression on the members of our party that have never been to Boston before. From the scallops and salmon to the skirt steak and rolls, we were raving about 224 all weekend!

There were only 25% of tables filled but getting another drink you needed a flare gun to get the waitress attention . Made what could have been a good meal in a neat old city setting (but loud) an average place

I hesitate to review this restaurant tucked away on Boston Street at the end of Dorchester (just by the crossroads where Southie begins) but they deserve the praise. I have been going here for years--great drinks if you only want a cocktail with friend and one of the best comfort food recipes around. The service is always friendly and after... More
