Delicious! I had the salmon, grilled to perfection with quinoa and asparagus. Wonderful ambiance - warm, welcoming, a lovely little niche in the middle of run of the mill Dot. I can't wait to go back in summer. They also had a fantastic assortment of interesting beers to choose from- many of which I've never heard of. Nice job, 224!!

This restaurant was our first stop getting out of the airport and made quite an impression on the members of our party that have never been to Boston before. From the scallops and salmon to the skirt steak and rolls, we were raving about 224 all weekend!

There were only 25% of tables filled but getting another drink you needed a flare gun to get the waitress attention . Made what could have been a good meal in a neat old city setting (but loud) an average place

I hesitate to review this restaurant tucked away on Boston Street at the end of Dorchester (just by the crossroads where Southie begins) but they deserve the praise. I have been going here for years--great drinks if you only want a cocktail with friend and one of the best comfort food recipes around. The service is always friendly and after... More

I had the Chicken Staler which was as good as any chicken dish I've had since Hamersley's closed. My son had the Mac & Cheese which he thought was great. Great, friendly staff. Worth the trip to go to this small neighborhood place in Dorchester.

One of the best restaurants we have experiences in Boston. Amazingly good food, vegetarian friendly and a lovely local location. Definitely give the restaurant a try.

We wanted authentic Bostonian food and we found it here. The clam chowder was the best I've ever had (it actually had clams in it and wasn't just cream). We really enjoyed our scallops as well. The staff was friendly and efficient. If I could change one thing about this restaurant it would be the shocking green color of the... More

We enjoyed the meal very much. Kitchen was visible from the dining area with all the good smells and activity to watch. Outside seating available in good weather as well as a bar area with seating for dining. Located a short walk from the Courtyard Marriott which has shuttles to Logan and extended parking plans.
