Being from Boston, I returned for a quick visit. My family met up with some friends who still live there. We had reservations at 6pm at Joe's. (One family has Celiac Disease) Joe's serves gluten free meals. We were running late due to the traffic in the city (take the T instead of a taxi). Our server never made us... More

We stopped at this Joe's location for lunch as we were ending our Boston visit. The restaurant has a great location on the waterfront with a large outdoor deck. The food was average at best. I had a Rueben that was very small and tough. My wife had a blackened fish sandwich that was underwhelming. They do offer a standard... More

We did not have a reservation, it was a Friday night...we waited about 20 minutes. Great service. Value for price paid was really good, large portions. We had sandwiches, ruebens, and were not disappointed. The wine-by-the-glass was priced fairly and a good selection. This is not ecclectic dining, just plain good food for the money.

This restaurant has an incredible location right on the harbor with outside tables that allow you sit harbor side. We waited an hour for a table, which was OK because it was a Saturday night. The menu has a lot of choices and a somewhat wide variety of dishes, but the prices are outrageous. I am not sure if it... More

We ended up here as an alternative to waiting at our first choice. Somehow we ended up with a nice table outside by the harbour. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. I ordered a burger and it was pretty boring for the price. I don't think my counterparts enjoyed their meals much more. Since I was in Boston for work it... More

My son, a Boston native, suggested this restaurant on our recent visit. It's location is ideal, right on the harbor with outdoor seating, if the weather permits. The menu was varied and the waitress was good. The prices were steep, $18 for Mac and Cheese, really? The bread they give you when you first sit down is excellent, still warm... More

My family was in Boston for the day and we decided on Joe's for a late lunch early dinner. We had a variety of ages that needed to be fed so Joe's was the best choice in the area. Everyone enjoyed their meals but it was a bit more expensive than I had planned on. Average Entree was $20 and... More

Went in on a Sunday...outside was not open yet due to rain. Opened outside at 4pm. We had a great seat with great view of the boats, ocean, city and people. Service was average. Food was ok. Good portions. Prices were a little high. 14$ for a small glassed Margarita? Wish I had known. Fish and chips was good with... More

Visited the restaurant with my girlfriends last night. On the plus side, the location has a wonderful view of the harbor and a short walk to Faneuil Hall. We were quite a demanding group and our waiter rolled with the punches, so that was great. We also tried a variety of cocktails- everyone was happy with what they ordered. Those... More

We went to Joe's to have dinner outside by the harbor. The food was ok, but nothing outstanding. If you want to go for the charm and the ambiance, it was really nice. Sitting outside was a treat and we opted to wait for a table on the dockside of the restaurant. Boston is a lovely city and the wait... More
