Nice location on the water

I was surprised at the lack of restaurants on the water in Boston Harbor. This sits nicely on the corner of the harbor and Boardwalk. Great people watching and pretty views of the water if sat outside, cheerful atmosphere. Ordered crab cakes which were delish and the clam chowder sourdough bowl... read more

In town for daughter's graduation and stayed in North End. Dined at Joe's on an early Saturday evening upon recommendation from a shop owner nearby. Checked in with the hostess located outside and she indicated 45 min wait and handed me a pager. Did not ask for my name and whether we wanted to sit indoor or outdoors. BTW, no... More

I had come in last week with some co-workers, I travel to Boston a lot from the West Coast and our experience started out great. We had a great view, sangria was tasty, and service was friendly. Towards the end of our meal one of my co-workers from the Boston office asked if we wouldn't order another round of drinks... More

We could see this restaurant from our hotel window so we chose it for our first meal in Boston. We didn't make a mistake. The food is excellent and the staff is superior. Joe's is noisy, but that made it all the more fun.

It's my first time visiting Boston and I've been here for three days. I've eaten tons of fish and delish food, but to be brutally honest, I was craving something fatty and delicious. I read the mixed reviews about Joe's and felt a little unsure, then saw the picture someone posted of the chicken picata and decided to try it.... More

We found Joe's during our last Boston trip and returned last night. Great atmosphere, food and service but what truly sets Joe's apart is how seriously and sensitively they address food allergy concerns. As the parent of a daughter that is severely allergic to peanuts and tree nuts, it is reassuring when a restaurant like Joe's takes the time to... More

I was staying at the small inn at the end of the wharf and thought that this might be part of a "cookie cutter" type chain restaurant so I thought I would just stop for a drink. It turns out that it is part of a chain but has a very "one of" feeling. Eric the bartender was great!! He... More

Great lobster rolls. Fun bar. Lunch, dinner or happy hour - yuo cannot go wrong. Fantastic location - on the waterfront, near the aquarium and very close to Fanuel Hall, next to the North End. Always a very good time - great bartenders, too.

Stopped here for a meal before a visit to the comedy club. This would be a great place to dine in the summer. We had a great waitress and the food was cooked to perfection. None of us had eaten here before and we would all try it again.

Went with the family to the Woburn location. We just wanted a quick bite to eat. I ordered a burger, my wife got the Rueben, my daughter a ceasar salad and my littlest, a hot dog. My burger was fine, not too hard to mess that up, but my wife said it tasted liked they cooked the Rueben a while... More
