The title pretty much says it all. If you sit outside, on the side facing the harbor, it's fantastic. The menu is varied, has interesting choices, and the food is great.

This is a nice place to watch the boats on the harbor. There is a fairly extensive brunch and lunch but the service was spotty due in part to several large parties. The salads were ordered were ok. There are probably better food options on the wharf but this is one of the few options to actually dine in close... More

Our second night in Boston and we chose Joes as it was right on the harbour side. It was busy as this was a holiday weekend, we were given a bleeper as the restaurant was busy - another good sign. However we only had to wait about 10 minutes before the bleeper went off. Restaurant normally offer you rolls at... More

Nice place to go and sit outside and people watch. We had the burgers and we were happy to have the option of a multi-grain bun. Also can get a gluten free bun if that is your preference. The burger was very good, I added Swiss cheese ($1 more) and the mushrooms (also a $1 more). You also have a... More

A table on the deck on a beautiful day. A great hamburger and choice of beers. What more could you ask for?

Great place with indoor and outdoor seating, this place is great for lunch or dinner and even a late night snack. Very comfy, decent prices

Being from Boston, I returned for a quick visit. My family met up with some friends who still live there. We had reservations at 6pm at Joe's. (One family has Celiac Disease) Joe's serves gluten free meals. We were running late due to the traffic in the city (take the T instead of a taxi). Our server never made us... More

We stopped at this Joe's location for lunch as we were ending our Boston visit. The restaurant has a great location on the waterfront with a large outdoor deck. The food was average at best. I had a Rueben that was very small and tough. My wife had a blackened fish sandwich that was underwhelming. They do offer a standard... More

We did not have a reservation, it was a Friday night...we waited about 20 minutes. Great service. Value for price paid was really good, large portions. We had sandwiches, ruebens, and were not disappointed. The wine-by-the-glass was priced fairly and a good selection. This is not ecclectic dining, just plain good food for the money.
