met two of my guests at Clio and ordered champagne costing $140 a bottle , sat down was served then minutes later the bar-keep brought over some cashew nuts for us and put them on the table. So far so good then I got the check and I was charged $5 plus for the nuts plus taxes, etc, quite extraordinary... More

Clio is our go to restaurant for special occasions. Again it didn't disappoint. We had the five course tasting menu with wine pairing. It was very good. The corn soup was my favorite. The poached egg was definitely runny, but it was also tasty. I'd have it again.

Magnificent cuisine, top, engaging and knowledgeable service, excellent décor and atmosphere, enough said.

I don't mind paying high prices but obviously expect a commensurate level of food quality, wine list and ambience. Clio is quite good on these items but does not justify the price. We were seated at a table beside the bar very close to other tables and constant waiter trafic. The wine list was limited and over priced for the... More

I think it must not be the same restaurant my husband and I went to four years ago. It can't possibly be. The menu was so weird, so off-putting that we couldn't find a single thing we wanted to eat. I finally asked, do you have any salads or any soups? Yes, they had one soup, called Corn Veloute or... More

Bizarre and overpriced. Don't believe this is a French restaurant. Every ingredient including the kitchen sink disguised as a gourmet meal.

We had a 9 course menu. On top of that we got extras from the chef. All very good. And tasty. We made our own selection of wines and had first Gosset champ and then a Albert Noxler Riesling and Calluna Cabernet Savignon. Service was also very good. As an European I was amazed how good can a restaurant at... More

This restaurant is rated incredibly highly but don't understand why. The service was so pitiful that ultimately, my wife and I asked for our check for our drinks and wine and left. We managed to make one course of a five course fixed price dinner in two hours before we finally gave up. Heard lots of apologies but didn't matter.... More

The service and food were amazing. The staff was helpful but not too involved. I have eaten there many times and never had anything but great meals.

The food and wine were the focus for this evening and didn't disappoint. The staff expertly paired two wines (1 white & 1 red) with each of the 5 courses to demonstrate variety, taste, weight, possibilities to consider. Though the event was to begin at 6, we weren't seated until about 6:25. However, the wait was worth it in the... More
