Dependably Delicious Pho

I lived in the Boston area for 4 years. I live now in Rome and one of the things I miss most is good Vietnamese food, especially pho tai. Le's has the best pho in Boston. It is situated in a cool part of town (near BU), has good prices, no frills but friendly service (they remembered me when I... read more

I have been going to this branch of Le's since before it was Le's. The starters ans soups are where they excel. I have had better Vietnamese dishes elsewhere individually, but this restaurant still does a good job, and the prices just can't be beat. Where else can you have an appetizer and entree, tip, and walk out of there... More

My wife and I used to visit this place pretty often as we like Vietnamese’s cuisine a lot. I mean for 20 years, it was even before they got the alcohol license and the space got increased in size. That’s why I decided to write a review. Now we come here much fewer and each time we notice how this... More

We found ourselves with time on our hands and empty tummies before our flight out of Boston and after a week of lobster & haddock in Maine were in the mood for something a little different. We went to Le’s on a whim after doing some quick internet searches for Vietnamese food and it was tasty. Service was decent and... More

Fresh ingredients with lots of flavor. We ordered the "small" soup ( could have fooled me, if this is small, I can imagine the big soup). The small soup was just $7. It was delicious and the meat was fresh and the noodles were plentiful and the soup was great. This alone would have been enough for me and it... More

Went twice in the past 2 weeks - the first time was absolutely delicious! However, the manager/owner was in the restaurant and that made all the difference. Got the Banh Hoi, where you make your own spring roll, and it was truly delicious & fun. Also got the soft shell crab (on the specials menu). Went back the week after... More

This is one of those locations where you know the eating is great - we got out of the car and literally the whole street smelled of yummy Asian food. (Street parking and it's tight, so if you can get there some other way that would be good; but it's a safe area and there is no problem if you... More

I have eaten happily at another branch of this restaurant. In this one the bar ,in the main room, which makes frequent 'tropical' drinks a blender is used frequently that actually makes it impossible to hear a table mate speaking. Really. I would guess it busts OISHA noise standards. The whole room is drowned in this industrial level clattering. Little exaggeration... More

Went here with some friends for lunch. Wide selection of dishes and good prices for all the food you get. Staff was very attentive. I ordered a vermicelli dish, but my friend told me their pho is the best she's had in Boston so far.
