A Step Above Typical Pub Food

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Boston Beer Works. The beers were great, and the food was a step above typical bar food. Service was really friendly and helpful.

I was staying at Buckminster so this was too close to resist! Great beer flights and bar food! Me and my girlfriend loved the whole experience!

Had some lunch here one day, staff friendly, food very tasty. Dessert was huge!!! Samples the local blueberry ale which was very nice and refreshing. Would recommend stopping here if in the area.

I always make a point of coming here when in Boston. As it was close season for the baseball it was, as one would expect, very quiet. There was a lot of new beers to try from last year, all of which hit the spot. The bartender is a friendly chap and the prices won't break the bank!

visited with a small group food was average but I was excited for beers, they didn't have my request but offered me something similar. I have no complaints but will not rush back, bar tender wasn't so excited about all my beer questions hmmmmmm

Ordered ciders - they didn't have one of the flavours so had to order a different one. One cider was flat. Ordered food (feta and lamb sliders) from the November specials - they didn't have them either. Settled with beef sliders. Meal was average. Good atmosphere because the Patriots game was on.

We stopped by Boston Beer Works after our tour of Fenway. It is easy walk from the tour exit if you go the right direction. It was pretty empty at 2pm on a Wednesday. The beer and food were very good but the service was a bit slow especially since the place was empty. They have their own brewery so... More

Came in for lunch to a very sparse atmosphere. No one was by the door to greet us, no one was at the host stand to greet us. We asked a bartender for assistance and he grabbed a server. The beer was good, the food was actually very good, but service was a miss. The music was almost goth like,... More

This is the second year during the HOTC that a group of masters rowers have walked from our hotel to this pub style restaurant. Flights of beer including a Pumpkin Spiced variety have lead the charge. That said, the food is decent, good variety, some gluten free items available. This year the roasted Beet salad didn't have any roasted beets... More

This is 1 of the 1st places we head to whenever I'm Boston, great atmosphere, good food and and great choice of beers. Service is great and right next to Fenway. Ask the bar staff to recommend a beer or 3 to try always new ones on tap and all worth a go.

Thank Aptimbrell

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
