A fun place with mediocre food

Great selection of in-house brews and excellent service. The food was nothing to write home about. I can't even remember what we ordered but what do you expect in a brewery. Great location near Fenway Park.

Pre-gaming before Sox opening day, super crowded inside, good brews, pushing the IPA craze lately. They do have a "beer line" for the bar which I think is a pretty cool feature, it's not labelled or anything though so you have to be aware and don't hang around the bar if not ordering, you may be "shooed" away but probably... We visited here having done a tour of Fenway and received a fantastic welcome which was so good that instead of just having the one drink we ended up eating. Our bartender was so friendly and so helpful talking us through the different types of beer. His descriptions of each was spot on and we enjoyed the Beantown Nut Brown,... More

Right at the entrance of Fenway- feel the wxcitement of the crowd pregame. Come at least 1 1/2 hours before game time. Service sometimes not the greatest.

I had the same experience as previous reviewer. We came in for a drink last Sunday early afternoon. There was less than 10 guests in the bar so you would think they would like more customers. However, we sat down at the bar and were given menus. I asked the waitress a few questions about the menu and decided what... More

Came in before a tour of Fenway Park to get a drink and sat in a nice booth. Sat there for 15mins waiting to get served. Went to the bar to order but was told to sit back down and we would be served there. Another while later, someone finally came over. We gave him our orders and then was... More

Had dinner before a House of Blues show in April 2015, and then came by for a beer and some snacks afterwards. Despite the number of restaurants n the area, the Boston Beer Works was crowded on a Saturday night with a sold out show at the House of Blues (capacity ca. 2500). The hostess tried to sit my son... We ate here twice - excellent choice of beers and a varied menu. We chose the burgers which were delicious (cheese burger with bacon).

The beer here is quite good. They only serve the locally brewed beer, but there are plenty of flavors and styles, makes you want to try all of them.
