The atmosphere and decor are great. We had a reservation and were taken to a back room where the tables were regular tables, not the low, Moroccan style seating with the great character. We chose to eat at the bar. That may have been why we were so rushed. The appetizer came out immediately. It was the tuna tartar was... More

We got here a little early around 9 PM and were able to get a seat easily, which sounds like we got lucky based on the other reviews and how crowded it got within a hour or so of us getting there. The prices were a little high across the board on the menu, but we didn't really feel like... More

Moroccan style and décor made for a unique experience and cozy get together with friends. Enjoyed the belly dancing entertainment before dinner. Generous portions, perfect before going out and excellent wine selection. After a wonderful trip to Morocco our group met at Tangierino in Charlestown to try to recapture the atmosphere - and delicious food - we had experienced in North Africa. Tangierino did not disappoint. The decor is sumptuous and distinctly Moroccan - rich reds, gorgeous fabrics, and several tables surrounded by beautiful strips of fabric to create the feeling of... Went with colleagues to try this restaurant. Service was excellent. Food was not to my taste but the others really enjoyed it. Generous portions nice surroundings. One of our party had been before and was expecting more entertainment but not offered on. Sunday evening.

This is a fun restaurant that is off the the beaten path. It is worth the 10 minute cab ride. You will be greeted by Jen who will make sure all is well. Never had Moroccan food before but now will be looking for it. Make sure you have a few hours extra and go downstairs for a hookah.

When you walk in you think "ok this is a bit kitchy" but then you relax into your tented table and sip a little something good and start to relax into the atmosphere. The food was really good - try some of the "old world" menu with tagines and other traditional items. Excellent blending of spices and cooking. The chicken... More

Very good service, and high quality North African dishes here. They have both traditional Moroccan fare and more modern/fusion takes on the region's cuisine. And what a fun and unique atmosphere. We tried the lamb and eggplant dishes, and were very impressed. Friendly and accommodating staff. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portions. We're fans!

Went here for a work dinner with some clients. The place is really nice and the setting is very comfortable, romantic if you will. Great for a date but food was OK, they were out of a couple of things. When we went to order drinks one person in the party was a "beer guy" who was very excited to... More
