Just plain good

I have been back to Audubon three times after returning to Boston after 9 years, and continue to enjoy its simplicity and casual atmosphere. The white bean spread is a nice sharable plate while perusing the menu. Nice, creative sandwiches, reasonable (albeit modest) beer selection. I like the... read more

We were glad to see Opening Day arrive at Fenway Park because it meant that we would be making our first trip of the year to Audubon Circle. We regularly arrive in Boston early for the sole purpose of grabbing a before-game meal here. I usually get a burger, which is delicious and served with a healthy cole slaw and... More

Went there with family and friends and decided to try burger as recc by friend and WAS not disappointed! Usually disappointed in most restaurant burgers as overcooked and dried out, even the so called better chains. This came medium as ordered and deliciously juicy and had with cheese and fried egg. The roll was not standard burger roll and outstanding... More

I popped into Audubon Circle the other night with a friend after a work event near Fenway park. We wanted something low-key but tasty, and found all that and more. I used to come here back in the day (actually, my single days) and always loved the chill atmosphere and great food. Even though the ownership has changed, the cool,... More

My friend found Audubon on the internet, and it was highly recommended by pretty much everyone. So when we decided to go out for a Valentine's Day double date around Fenway, this was the restaurant we opted for. The food was excellent. Every menu item is an original spin on standard pub-style favorites. Everything seemed to be grilled or baked,... More

Had the shrimp with garlic appetizer and it was a wow - but ONLY if you love garlic and have nothing to worry about in the few hours afterwards as it is intense garlic. And the shrimp were also great. My friend had one of the sandwiches which are great - though very rich and he found it a bit... More

Being so close to Boston University Audubon is a perfect spot for after class drinks. You never say....let's go there for dinner. And what a mistake! The food here is always exceptionally good. While I'll still be going there for an after-class drink, I'll also recommend going there for dinner as well. Last meal was the flounder - delicious with... More

We visited our son on Columbus Day weekend and wanted a quieter place for dinner than (expensive hotel bar/restaurant) or (rowdy Mexican place). This little place is a short walk from Kenmore Square tucked into a row of brick apartment buildings next to a bike shop. The decor is modern with rustic light fixtures, a large bar and about 20... First of all, the name of this place is tricky. It used to be Audubon Circle, but has changed names, and from what I understand, is a new restaurant. It also won best neighborhood restaurant from the Improper Bostonian magazine this month. The food was great, nice and creative, and lots of vegetarian choices (although few entrees). The menu posted... More

Lovely little spot near Fenway Park for a drink and (kind of) cheaper burgers and sandwiches; really friendly staff
