I was with a group of physically-disabled hockey players--the one step was tolerable with the wheelchairs, but a bit steep; inside was tight. They were very helpful accommodating our party of over 20 (several tables, which was fine). The food is just pizza and BBQ (I didn't see many options for BBQ)-- no salads, no additions if the one-size pizza... More

Santarpio's is a Boston legend. Amazing pizza going on 100 years in business. Everytime we're back in Boston we make sure to make at least one trip there. The place is not fancy -- it's noisy, it's decorated with boxing posters from the 1980's, and it probably hasn't been updated since the 1960's -- and that's part of the charm.... More

It is a local spot for sure. I wish I’d had more time to listen to the guys next to me talk; it was like I was in a movie. Bring cash and drink slow, no free refills but the Pizza is the best I've probably ever had. They had BBQ lamb as well that must've been great. I think... More

The menu, if you can call it that, offers pizza, sausages and lamb tips. That's it. But this is one of those places where the sum is greater than the parts. It's old...oddly in one of America's oldest cities, not many old restaurants/bars exist. It's not a slave to trends---very good pizza, cold beet, decent bottles if wine ($18 for... More

Quick night stop in the embassy suites and about looking for a good eat, stumble across this place. The pizza was simply the best!!! Nothing more to add re the food. The service was provided with a smile, humour and efficiency. Would highly recommend... Go and enjoy... Essex. Uk.

This is absolutely epic pizza. I can't remember how many people I've told this to who thought I was merely being hyperbolic... then I took them here and the reaction is always the same, "This IS the best pizza in the city." Now, for people from out of town, be advised that the you go to Santarpios for the food,... More

Wow, you have not had Pizza until you have eaten at Santarpio's Pizza. This place came highly recommended by friends of ours and it lived up to the expectation. The service was friendly and quick, the Pizza was simply the best I have ever eaten (my wife loved it but it wasn't the best she has had) and the wine... More

We ate here since it was within walking distance from Embassy suites and we didn't want to eat at the hotel. We were not disappointed. The place is old school like Lombardi's in NYC. You'll know what I mean if you have ever been to Lombardi's. We had the sausage pie and we ate a large just the two of... More

This a great place to grab some quick grub and suds. We had an Italian-style pizza and steak kebobs. I wouldn't say the kebobs were extraordinarily flavorful, but they were very tender and good tasting.
