Pizza! And Grilled Meat! And That's It!

The pizza was piping hot, and the beer was ice cold. What more do you need? Bonus: It's a seven-minute drive (literally) to Logan Airport. Santarpio's serves delicious thin crust pizza, piping hot out of the oven, with great toppings and perfectly charred crust. If that's what you're looking... read more

Traveled from RI to East Boston to try what was proclaimed to be the best pizza in New England. I would agree this is excellent pizza. The comparison is made to Caserta in Providence (#5 in NE). The crust is lighter and vrispier as a result. The sauce is less spicy than Caserta. If Santarpio's was in RI I would... More

Been going to this place for years. Pizza is the best in Boston. Make sure to have the barbecue lamb or sausage as an appetizer. Ask for the pizza well done. Don't expect warm and fuzzy service, but that is the best part of the experience. Cash only, ATM in the restaurant. Right near Logan airport. Great place to grab... More

Heard about it, read the reviews, stopped on our way to Logan and so glad we did. Nothing fancy about this place. Just really really good pizza! Very reasonably priced, beer available. On street parking was a bit of a challenge but we found a spot. About 10 minutes from Logan Airport.

Now the hubs is all about pizza, I enjoy it but don't seek it out. This was about the best pizza I've ever had and if the hubs liked it, you know its legit. To the right as you walk in the grill is open and there are skewers of lamb and peppers grilling--intoxicating! No frills, just no nonsense wait... More

Everything you want in a real pizza. Crispy crust, simple sauce, and real Italian cheese. The pepperoni is the best. If your looking for ambiance, this place is not for you. Kind of a divey look, but don't let that discourage you from going. And the service is how can I say it....not exactly friendly but the pizza makes up... More

Loved it! We were seated at the bar, avoiding a line at the door. The bartender was a little cranky, but we managed to soften her up by talking about life in Northern NY. A local, Chris, had us order a pizza and bread and pepper juice. Good advice! The bartender hesitated, as were weren't locals and this is clearly... More

This place is a true gem. There is no better place in Boston to have an authentic experience of pizza and beer. Just a short walk from the Blue Line, Santarpios is worth the excursion and East Boston is cool too. We love The Works without anchovies and hope to order the skewers next time we visit. Do NOT miss... More

Simple good thin crust with a good red sauce. No skimping on the garlic here, and no crazy, trendy toppings - good solid stuff, cash only.
