I wouldn't say "the best" pizza in Boston, but this hole-in-the-wall is worth the trip - wine is either red or white, menu is pizza or bbq - that's it. Certainly the best bbq lamb in town. more

I have visited Santarpio on a couple of occasions, and while I do not find the atmosphere all that appealing, the pizzas are good and served hot, and the beer is always cold. Too, the Italian sausage and peppers provide a good appetizer. I like this place, despite the fact it is nothing special to look at. more

Never understood why this dingy looking place, with some of charming waitstaff --read rude-- is always listed as best pizza in Boston. The menu is extremely limited, and the pizza is oily with not many choices. I go by it all the time, and in winter wonder why people are waiting there freezing to death. more

Food was great. Pizza was simple and tasted great - simple flavors and great crust. It was fun to watch the people and the staff. Coming from the mid-west, we felt we were in the heart of Boston culture and fun. more
