Sister evening!

My sis and I had a lovely evening at Artu's. Waiter was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The mussels were the best I've had in years and the Linguine con le Vongole was delicious. Sister had the eggplant which arrived in a serving size that could feed three. And of course, scrumptious tiramisu for... read more

We dined at Artu's for lunch at the location on Charles St. It is a wonderful little restaurant with pasta served at just the right consistency. Service was very pleasant, wine choices were good. The price was in my opinion, very reasonable given the quality of the meal. Highly recommend.

Kind staff. Nice bar. Average pasta. Ridiculous Caesar salad. Overpriced -very- We were exhaust after a long stroll, at least seats were comfortable.

I had dinner here at Artu on Charles Street in Beacon Hill off the Charles/MGH T line. It was an Italian place with reasonable prices. I had the chicken parmesan with eggplant. Even though the chicken and eggplant were sliced thin, the portion slices were more than enough. It came with pasta and a red sauce. The pasta was cooked... More

Went for a late lunch mid-week. Spacious and airy. Wonderful server Juan, I believe. One of the girls in our party ordered the calamari appetizer. I don't eat calamari but this bowl looked wonderful. Lightly fried and a little spicy. Those who did eat it said it was great. I ordered a Cesar salad, gnocchi and meatballs with the red... More

We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of montepulciano, the delicious fried calamari with cherry peppers and the two housemade pasta dishes - the bolognese and the carbonara. The service was welcoming, unrushed. I thought it was strange that we had to keep our silverware for both of the courses - you're usually given a fresh set for each course - well,... More

Went for a late lunch and the calamari was terrific for an appetizer. We had a variety of the pastas and a pizza and the wine list was quite nice.

Like us you are horrified by the line front of Giacomo's? You even suspect that with such a notoriety they will be complacent or overpriced... Well, we found the perfect alternative! Artu gave us a table very quickly, we got very good service by the personnel as soon as we got inside. And the good surprise comes from the quality... More

How do reward yourself for a busy day visiting Boston area colleges? Another great meal in The North End. After much debating and input from the folks here at TA, I settled on Artu to try. Located just off Hanover Streets hustle and bustle, this is not an old school "Red Sauce" restaurant with checkered table cloths and "That's Amore"... More
