Good Food, Outstanding Service, Excellent Choice

This was recommended by two different Boston residents for the half dozen out of towners including myself that I would be having dinner. The people and menu have changed. I sent back my lasagne because it was ice cold; it came back a pile of heated mush. The *old* Artu would never have served frozen lasagne. No compensation or apology for the mess. The menu is not near as seasonal as it once was.

It's not a grand restaurant. But, good, solid food and I think a great place for lunch. Their roasted vegetables are the best.

I hadn't been here in a couple of years, but they've updated the space and added a spacious bar area. The food was delicious, however a little on the expensive side. It used to be one of the more affordable places in the area. The quality of the food was very good though, so not overpriced. Great drinks and atmosphere... More

Been here for dinner a few times and haven't been disappointed. The pasta is amazing and is what I usually stick with when I come here. The service can feel super rushed at times and can switch to being super slow. However, the waitstaff are very congenial. This is a great place tucked into a corner in the North End,... More

Nice place just off Hanover Street with great lunch menu selection. I had a Risotto dish that was excellent.

I don't know where the chef went to food school, but I do not think a panini consists of a cold sub roll. I had the chicken with tomatoes and basil "panini", while my companion had the lamb with eggplant "panini". Both were on nondescript cold sub rolls. The chicken was completely tasteless. The basil was just hard-to-find scraps of... More

My wife and I and our son and his wife had dinner at Artu's on Prince Street in the North End on Friday evening. My wife and I have eaten lunch here a number of times but this was our first dinner meal. We were able to make reservations on the Open Table website for 7:00 p.m. As we arrived,... More

Was in the area trying to get a table elsewhere...the place around the corner everyone queues for. In the pouring rain we spotted this place and took shelter. Turned out to be absolutely fantastic. We had some drinks at the bar and shared the scallop appetiser. Two excellent plates of pasta followed. Excellent quality fresh food with great service. Thanks... More

We discovered Artu's by ordering their take-out subs. The subs were game-changers for us. As I recall, we had the roast pork and eggplant. I've yet to have a sub that tasted like gourmet food. Of course, we began going for dinner, and the food remains excellent. It's a bit crowded and a bit loud, like anywhere in the North... More
