Love the eggplant and pasta dish with calamari. Moderately priced, good service, and the tables are not packed so close as in other North End restaurants

We have eaten in the North End many times and have a few favorites, for which we always make reservations. This time we took a chance and wandered in o the North End, by foot, with no reservations, and on a very busy Saturday night (Labor Day weekend, great weather). Stumbled across Artu, which we didn't know and were fortunate... More

Consistent with some prior reviews, which I should have read in advance, we were disappointed with Artu on Charles St. Things got off to a bad start when we were seated next to a table of four very loud people. I had the "Artu" which was tomatos with smoked mozzarella and red peppers. The tomatos weren't quite ripe and were... More

Our waiter wasn't very friendly, then another waitress recognized our friend who lives around the corner, suddenly our service was better, our food arrived soon.

It had been a couple of years since I have been able to go to one of my favorite Restaurants, Artu, on Prince Street in Boston's North End and I am pleased to say it is still as good as ever. I took a group of friends there and we all enjoyed our meals. Our waiter, Stephen provided the incredible... More

We booked a table for 7.30, and arrived 20 minutes early. We were shown directly to our table. Great! Our waiter, Nelson was prompt to arrive and took our order of Calamari starter to share, Pasta main for my wife and Rib Eye steak for me. He promised to be back with breads while we waited. And waited, no bread,... More

First off bread service definitely not what you expect in a high end Italian restaurant In The north end. Cold Italian bread which took a rather long time to appear for something that arrived cold. In addition they accompany your cold bread with cold butter . Rather then a seasoned olive oil or atleast soft butter like you would normally... More

Nice north end type restaurant. Small place with great food(could be best in Boston) and good service. Not a kid friendly type of place, so if your traveling with the family, avoid this place. But if you have all adults and you are looking for authentic italian restaurant then this is your place.

I really was looking forward to eating Italian food in the a North end. The food was tasty but the portions were small. Entrees were pricey and sides and salads are not included. I wouldn't go back. I left wishing I would have stopped at another restaurant.

Had the whole family, everybody ordered different dishes and they were all great. Great service and the prices were very reasonable. We do dine there almost every time we are in the North End.
