Great staff, very good food

For our first night in Boston for vacation, we felt like the North End was the perfect place to start. We got a reservation and were seated by a staff that made us feel welcome throughout the night. We ordered mostly appetizers (antipasto salad and meatballs), but it was all delicious. We will go... read more

My three kids and I stumbled across this place after touring the old north church hoping to find authentic Italian food and we did! Delicious freshly made lobster ravioli in a perfect cream sauce, homemade cheese tortellini; we all enjoyed the bruschetta and calamari fritti too. Nice glass of chianti for me, perfect panna cotta for dessert and a lovely... More

Very expensive, very loud and for the price, the food was average at best. Mussels were tiny which from PEi the mussel capital of the world, they should have been twice the size. Wine was over priced but a good list. Will not be back.

Walked around the North End as tourists and a local friend recommended this place. We walked in without a reservation, at about 5 pm, and were seated upstairs immediately. By the time we left, the place was packed and there was a wait. We ordered a Caprese salad which was excellent and a beet salad with red and yellow beets.... More

We visited with a few friends and were sadly underwhelmed by the food and it was not for a lack of trying out the menu. Mussels, lasagna, pasta, sausages, salads etc. none of the items were very flavorful nor did any stick out as being a favorite. However, the service was very good and probably is what kept this from... More

The restaurant is nice although small tables. The service was very good. Unfortunately we were underwhelmed with the food choices. We had house salad, beet salad, mussels, lasagna and saltimbocca. Beet salad was good but other items not so flavorful. Disappointing choice for us.

I purchases a Gilt gift certificate for this restaurant. My husband and I split a Caprese Insalata to start. For pasta we had the pesto and the pomodoro. And for dessert we had a bomba thing that was so tasty! The gift certificate also included a glass of wine each. We had a wonderful time. Everyone there was so very... More

Hear about this place on phantom gourmet , had to Try it one time. I started with antipasto, and a fantastic carbonara with shrimp , very good service along with a nice atmosphere .

Loved the food. Possibly the best lasagna I've ever tasted. Friendly staff, quaint atmosphere, and our waiter even recommended dessert at Modern Pastry on Hanover Street.
