Great staff, very good food

For our first night in Boston for vacation, we felt like the North End was the perfect place to start. We got a reservation and were seated by a staff that made us feel welcome throughout the night. We visited with a few friends and were sadly underwhelmed by the food and it was not for a lack of trying out the menu. Mussels, lasagna, pasta, sausages, salads etc. none of the items were very flavorful nor did any stick out as being a favorite. However, the service was very good and probably is what kept this from... More

The restaurant is nice although small tables. The service was very good. Unfortunately we were underwhelmed with the food choices. We had house salad, beet salad, mussels, lasagna and saltimbocca. Beet salad was good but other items not so flavorful. Disappointing choice for us.

I purchases a Gilt gift certificate for this restaurant. My husband and I split a Caprese Insalata to start. For pasta we had the pesto and the pomodoro. And for dessert we had a bomba thing that was so tasty! The gift certificate also included a glass of wine each. We had a wonderful time. Everyone there was so very... More

Loved the food. Possibly the best lasagna I've ever tasted. Friendly staff, quaint atmosphere, and our waiter even recommended dessert at Modern Pastry on Hanover Street.

Lucia was located in a very good area full of life in the North End. We went for dinner and had the veal parm and my husband took the Marco Polo. The menu prices on trip advisor are not very accurate though...real prices are higher with 4 to 5 dollars. We paid 60 something dollars on those two dishes, it... More

Wait staff took our cheese shaker off of our table TWICE and gave to another table. WEIRD service practice. We were still using it so we felt like we were not treated with respect after the second time. Shrimp appetizer was tasty- a bit expensive but good. Marco Polo was delish if you like seafood and pasta. Deep flavor. Gnocchi... More

I had the lasagna. It was fantastic. Our server was friendly and actually from Italy, so the kids thought that was cool. We had a bottle of wine w/ dinner and the price was very reasonable in comparison to other places in Boston. Would certainly visit again.
