Meal was outstanding, had veal Marsala and veal saltimbucca. The saltimbucca was outstanding! Servings are very large, you will not leave hungry. most people walk out with leftovers . We could easily have shared an entree, that is how large the servings are. If you want well prepared entrees and do not want to believe that you have been short... More

The food is really good, I got the Veal Saltimbocca and my friends got the Marco Polo. Both choices were excellent. We also ordered the Calamari and the Caprese salad as appetizers. The Calamari was a bit overcooked but still good. The wine selection was adequate, reasonably priced. They offer Valet parking for $20. For those who don't want to... More

Lucia's has served dependable and reasonably priced Italian food for decades. My favorite item is the the veal and chicken Spezzatino all’Abbruzzese. Most of the other meals were good, although the many of the pastas were too soft to be al dente. The wine selection was adequate. The service was outstanding. Prices for the area were quite good.

We were a pretty large group and was fortunate to get a reservation. (via Open Table online) Service was great, the staff very friendly and efficient. The food was very good, just not exceptional nor complex but did the basics very well. Wine list is adequate but again not real sophisticated. The atmosphere was a bit casual but fun and... More

We love going to the north end to eat but haven't been as much since the kids came along. We decided to try something new this time and went to Lucia. I chose it based on the menu which had a nice selection of pasta choices I thought my small children (ages 6-9) would like. The food was all really... More

The hostess was so sweet and outgoing. The service was fine. The food came out quickly. Huge portions could easily split a meal. Ordered a garden salad with the house dressing it was tasty. Hubby ordered veal eggplant parmesan. He loved it! I had the pollo premargaria. It was fantastic!

We went to this restaurant based on the good reviews. If you like bland and over priced food then this is the place for you. Even the service was mediocre. We had sausage as a side and it was cold. We told her it was cold and the waitress seemed surprised that we wanted warm food!

We loved the whole North End area. A friend suggested that we eat at Lucia while in Boston and we were not disappointed! The menu was terrific, wine choices good and the food was delicious. We both ordered pastas of course, a bottle of house white wine that was recommended based on our taste (and worked out great) and desserts,... More

This place was cited as one of the “top tables in the North End” in the “Where Guestbook Boston” in the hotel room. It wasn’t. The first tip off was the bruschetta, normally consisting of a rough crusty bread (like ciabetta), toasted, rubbed with garlic and drizzled with a good olive oil. The ones here were a smooth bread (like... More

Walking around North End of Boston on a Saturday night with NO reservations. Lines out the doors of most places.... We stumbled into Lucia's... told it was a 30 minute wait, but they had a bar downstairs. Got a drink (bartender didn't make a good Martini.. asked for extra dry, she put too much vermouth).... and we waited... just about... More
