Good food, wish service was better!

Overall, good quality food. But the service is bit choppy...there are 2 waiters running around 20 odd tables. They need to hire more waiters. Falafel is the best in town.

This is a great choice. We had hummus, stuffed grape leaves, falafel sandwich, and the lamb kabob platter. The portions are big so either go hungry or plan on having leftovers. All of our dishes were well prepared and seasoned. Skip the sports bars on Boyleston and eat here.

I feel bad rating a place based on one sandwich, but I just have to say that everything about it was tasty except the chicken was so salty and unnaturally tender that I have to believe it had been injected with some type of solution...did not taste like fresh, all natural chicken, though I could be wrong. Very salty.

The Cafe Jaffa is just for fun. Conveniently located near the convention center off Boylston Street, it is easy to find. The staff are young, enthusiastic and welcoming. The food is Middle Eastern and if you have a taste for hummus and felafel you have found home. Prices are quite reasonable, service is fast, atmosphere is -- well -- funky.... More

Little Middle Eastern cafe across the street from the convention center. You can carry out or sit down. The interior is appealing and nicely decorated. On the menu: the standards. Everything I had was very fresh, flavorful and generously portioned. Thank you for discovering the secret of soft pita bread. The baklava, too, is a miraculous thing, at least five... More

Cafe Jaffa is a nice cheaper alternative to the restaurants in Back Bay for generic middle eastern food. Good hummus, falafel, tahini, baba ghanoush and Turkish coffee. It wouldn't be a destination spot but worth the visit if you are in the area.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. We started with the mosaic plate as an appetizer - jummy humus, tahini; the baba ghanous was not our favorite. When we asked for more bread to dip in the humus, the waitress mumbled something like 'its on the way' (I think) while walking away. We ordered the mixed kabob plate, and... More

Found this place as a result of researching on trip advisor. It is a funky, reasonable priced restaurant with fantastic food! The server, Kim was sweet and efficient. Highly recommend!
