decent replacement for (may it r.i.p.) Steve's

Only a few blocks from where Steve's Greek use to be, tucked into an alley where you'd never see it. Great food and variety, good prices, polite, if not overly friendly staff - worth a check-it-out. I know we'll be back...

The Cafe Jaffa is just for fun. Conveniently located near the convention center off Boylston Street, it is easy to find. The staff are young, enthusiastic and welcoming. The food is Middle Eastern and if you have a taste for hummus and felafel you have found home. Prices are quite reasonable, service is fast, atmosphere is -- well -- funky.... More

I love this place! Their food is always fresh and delicious. Sometimes service can get slow but overall this is great place to dine!

Little Middle Eastern cafe across the street from the convention center. You can carry out or sit down. The interior is appealing and nicely decorated. On the menu: the standards. Everything I had was very fresh, flavorful and generously portioned. Thank you for discovering the secret of soft pita bread. The baklava, too, is a miraculous thing, at least five... More

Cafe Jaffa is a nice cheaper alternative to the restaurants in Back Bay for generic middle eastern food. Good hummus, falafel, tahini, baba ghanoush and Turkish coffee. It wouldn't be a destination spot but worth the visit if you are in the area.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. We started with the mosaic plate as an appetizer - jummy humus, tahini; the baba ghanous was not our favorite. When we asked for more bread to dip in the humus, the waitress mumbled something like 'its on the way' (I think) while walking away. We ordered the mixed kabob plate, and... More

Found this place as a result of researching on trip advisor. It is a funky, reasonable priced restaurant with fantastic food! The server, Kim was sweet and efficient. Highly recommend!

This place has excellent food. I tried the Greek salad and falafel platter. The salad was amazing, i loved the dressing on my salad. The quantity was great for the value.Falafel plate was big with soft pita, delicious hummus, just perfect. I would definitely recommend this place.

I had take out from Cafe Jaffa so I cannot speak to the sit-down dining experience. The food was delicious. It was my first time having Middle Eastern food and I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered one of their "for two" combos and it was a perfect amount of food. Everything was super yummy, but felt healthy and fresh. I... More
