Normally restaurants inside museums are not that great but this is a very respectable restaurant with really quite good food. Service is a little slow and probably could be a bit friendlier but still a great place for a break while you are inside the museum

An eclectic menu and a great service, plus a quiet place to dine. As a member of the MFA i go frequently. To avoid traffic I am usually there over lunch. Bravo has a good menu, decent wine and excfellent service. Plus theer is amember discount. Go and enjoy the food, service and lack of noise.

We were there in a group function for lunch with about 25 people. The setting is modern and light, and had live music from a piano and bass combo. Our menu included a tasty, somewhat unique salad, and a very nicely presented and appetizing arctic char. The service was very good. This presented a nice ambience to chat over a... More

Bravo ! For being such a great place at an exceptional setting within the museum of fine art. Great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Went there for brunch with friends and had a blast.

A top rated place? Prix Fixe price $39, for 3 courses. The yogurt was OK, tart and with some fruit and a sweet Rice Krispy stick sticking out of it. Salad was, well, a salad. Quiche was egg custard with a few cherry tomatoes in a pastry shell. No significant cheese taste or texture. Eggs Benedict were really Eggs Sardu... More

I love this restaurant. My mother and I had lunch here while visiting the museum. The service was impeccable. The cocktails were delicious. The seasonal menu is so good, it's hard to choose what to have. I eat vegan and the chef was more than happy to prepare a custom dish for me (probably because the restaurant was not too... More

VERY slow service and it was not a very busy night at all. It took a very long time to get service, get our drinks, have plates cleared and even get our check. Our waitress was non existent. I should have trusted my instinct and not gone, days before I called to get a menu emailed to me since it... More

As a regular donor and patron of the MFA and a Boston resident I am ashamed of the shockingly poor dining option inside the museum. Bravo's food is consistently overpriced, mislabeled and downright dishonest. Salads come out limp and wilted; "heirloom" tomatoes come out as mealy beefsteak tomatoes doused in cheap olive oil; every soup has had its flavors drowned... More

Waiter was attentive until he wasn't but manager (we think) ?stepped in to assist waiters, thanks! We never wanted........ Ourc review was mixed though we left full. We were wishing for non flavored rolls, rosemary and cherry ? rolls were just not... More

When I visit the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, I always have lunch at the Bravo Restaurant. This past Thursday, I ate here with a friend. We made a reservation for 11:45 AM and when we arrived the place was empty. By the time we finished our meal, the restaurant was packed! Our waitress was very helpful. The food... More
