We had been to Flour restaurant in the South end for lunch years ago and enjoyed it so this time we tried breakfast at the Clarendon location. Everything that we ordered was really delicious. My husband had the steel cut oats topped with nuts and berries which he said were really great and very filling. I had a piece of... More

A friend of mine recently came to visit and she insisted that the first stop we make in downtown Boston be Flour bakery. She loves all the Flour cookbooks and swears by their Banana Bread recipe. Even with these high expectations, I was very impressed. First of all, it's a very beautiful, clean space and the staff were wonderfully helpful.... More

Our hotel informed us about this place for coffee and a little something as a local place instead of the "trendy" places! The service and food we good. It was very busy but we were served fast. Our food and coffee tasted good for sure. Would we go back? yes! Worth the visit if you like local places.

At lunch it is very busy with a long line. You will order then wait for your name to be called. It really doesn't take all that long to get your food. The sandwiches they make are very good.

This bakery was a great find around the corner from our hotel (Loews). There is a wide menu and the amount of people in there everyday is evidence of how great it is! The cakes are delicious and clearly fresh, the coconut cream pie, rice crispie treat, bread pudding and vegan chocolate muffin are all delicious. The selection of sandwiches... More

Had come here on a local's recommendation. We walked in and were amazed at the size of the place and the crowd! It is obviously very popular and it's no surprise it is, as they have so much variety and their bakery is outstanding.

While in Boston, we ate here twice (actually three times if you count the fact that our Foodie Tour took us by there). My husband LOVED his egg sandwich and I equally loved the steel cut oatmeal with blueberries. The next morning I had a delicious spelt oat scone and my husband had an equally delicious muffin. We are "coffee... More

Super fresh and good sandwich and sweets. Ideal for breakfast and the people working at the counter seemed so happy all the time.

Flour is a go-to in urban Boston if you absolutely must have a good salad or sandwich (BLT or lamb are favorites), or, of course, some dessert. Their cookies, bread pudding, banana cream pie, and (only on weekends) doughnuts, are especially yummy. I love the food, but am not a huge fan of the place itself. The system for ordering... More
