In Boston recently and ate at the Flour Bakery and Cafe on Clarendon St. in the Back Bay, which serves creative sandwiches and salads, along with all sorts of fresh bakery items. Sandwiches are on bread that is home-made and delicious. Breakfast choices are limited to pastries, muffins, French toast and an egg sandwich. The egg sandwich was very tasty,... More

I ordered a chunky lulu cookie and a fruit tart. They were very delicious. There are so many choices to choose from! I feel that nobody can go wrong with ordering any of those baked goods. Many people were there enjoying their food. The atmosphere was nice and neat. I would come back again.. maybe to try out for its... More

We wanted to taste the famous sticky buns at Flour, but we arrived near the end of the day (at the Cambridge location) and there weren't any left. We were so disappointed. So we got the oreo cookies instead, per a friend's suggestion. Oh. My. A homemade oreo cookie (we had one with regular vanilla filling, one with peanut butter... More

Flour was recommended on TripAdvisor, so when looking for a snack lunch while in South End, Boston, MA, it was the obvious place to go. The long queue at 1:30 was testament to its popularity, but the line moved and the sandwiches were worth the short wait. Being Brits, we went for the half sandwiches, and, for us, that was... More

Terrific baked goods, sandwiches and salads. Okay, really amazing baked goods - from cookies to bread to homemade oreos - this is the place. Try the house raspberry seltzer. I have been countless times to all of the locations and

This was our first visit to Flour. We tried multiple pastries and the quinoa salad. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Ask the staff for a recommendation- they really know their stuff and were right on. Don't count on having a place to sit, and the line to order was almost out the door-but it's worth it :)

Only complaint-is trying to find a place to sit for breakfast. It was busy both days we were there. Fri & Sat morning.

Their bread, pastries etc are very good, clearly better than average in Boston. They have two branches, one in Cambridge and one in the South End. The one in Cambridge is more spacious and better for brunching. I can't say much about the food because I usually go there to buy bread and pastries.
