Classy, sit down restaurant. Food was great! Would recommend the lobster Mac & Cheese. Food was extremely hot when brought to table so use caution! Service was slow and servers were not overly helpful or attentive. Despite this, I would highly recommend!

I visited this restaurant twice during a weeks stay. The steak and ahi tuna were very good although the clam chowder had too many potatoes for my taste. The lobster and crab sandwich too was very good. The service was discrete and professional. Would recommend for a nice me, though do bear in mind that it is pricey.

Had a family meal here, good selection of food and wines, very helpful staff. Portions a little over facing. All in all a good night out but bill was close to $400 for four people

This restaurant was recommended to me by a work colleague prior to a trip to Boston so my girlfriend and I reserved a table for the second night of our trip. We were seated promptly and the waitress was very helpful. The ipad wine list was impressive and easy to use. I ordered the Porterhouse steak and it was huge... More

We had another great trip here on Labour Day this year. We had a 9pm reservation and arrived at around 8.30/8.40 to have a drink in the bar. The hostess informed us that the kitchen closed at 9pm which was surprising as when we booked though open table there was reservations up to 10pm but we decided to eat earlier... More

My husband and I had tried to walk in several other restaurants (on a Thursday, mind you) without a reservation and we were quickly turned away, so we were surprised when we stumbled upon Capital Grille and they said we could be seated in minutes. The ambiance was amazing and our waitor was fabulous - very knowledgeable about everything and... More

My daughter took me to this "fancy" place last spring. I've been thinking about it quite a bit, so I thought if write a review of the "experience" for you. First of all why all the red? I kept thinking about red room, which made me think- red rum, which made me think of Steven King. The waiter was excellent... More

I am a bit of a classic - Tanqueray Ten and Tonic with a lime in the summer. This summer night the tonic was flat and the meal headed in the same direction. The tomato salad special was okay. It was not one of those delightful tomato and mozzarella salads with basil and balsamic vinaigrette that explodes with flavor. The... More

If you've eaten at one Capital Grille, you've pretty much eaten at all of them. I've eaten at several Capital Grilles in many different cities and they are all about the same. Big, noisy, expensive and decent food, but not extraordinary. This one in Boston was no different.
