We’ve received a boatload of accolades including “Most Popular Boston Restaurant” (Zagat, 2012/2013), “Best Seafood Restaurant” (Improper Bostonian, 2010), “Best Chowder” (Boston Magazine, 2010), “Best Seafood Restaurant” (Boston Phoenix, 2009) and the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.

This was some really great seafood. Its not cheap but not outrageous either. They cook traditional Boston Seafood and it is great. We were also happy they have Gluten Free alternatives for our Daughter. She was so happy to eat what we had. The Waterfront location did not seem to be as good, but it could have been an off... More

My husband and I both had the lobster casserole and it was delicious! Mostly lobster and very little bread crumbs. Sides were fresh asparagus and mushrooms and both were tender and delicious. The meal also came with a nice salad. I had a Mai Tai and it was made correctly and my husband had a vodka gimlet which was also... More

When my friend and I walked in, my senses were immediately assaulted by a strong fish odor. Ok, it's a seafood restaurant, but in my experience living in Florida, if it smells like this, stay away! I was in a hurry so decided to stay and order despite what my intuition was telling me. Ordered the New England clam chowder,... More

Great seafood, super service. Convenient location. Nice variety and fairly priced entrees. Just one of many great restaurants but located in the Westin Copley so very convevient for us. Ate there twice in 5 days.

The seafood was mediocre. My crab cakes were dry and the remoulade tasted like a squirt of Dijon mustard right out of the bottle. Brown rice was tasteless. The huge portion of steamed broccoli I was served was pale and woody. I was very disappointed in the quality of the food overall. The service, however, was quite good.

The wood grilled blue fish was succulent and comes with 2 sides for $19. A good view, friendly staff and quick service.

I just flew into Boston for a business meeting. It will fill up my time here, so I had to have some Boston Seafood. They were fantastic! Kimberly was my waitress and she an outstanding job!

We've seen this chain in so many places and never made it in until this past Friday. We had a great lunch and some of the best servers. Very friendly and conversational. I think I had some of the sweetest and coldest cherry stone clams I ever had. Ordered a second dozen. I highly recommend and look forward to getting... More

Easy to get to (or find), though a bit touristy because of the location. Make certain you try the chowdah (chowder)

This restaurant was adjacent to the hotel where I was staying. The menu looked good and I was in somewhat of a time crunch to be somewhere. The salad was fresh and very appetizing. My entree of crab cakes was very disappointing. While they were loaded of crab they were only served luke-warm - not good for an entree. The... More
