I've been to Fire and Ice twice now and find it a lot of fun. There is plenty of food to choose from and the price is reasonable. The food is really good but the shrimp is excellent. I had a hard time picking out a sauce but they allow you to sample them first which works out great. The... More

My partner, his brother and I visited Fire and Ice in Boston today for lunch. We arrived learning they have changed their menu and now serve brunch. Which meant they didn't have half the vegetables we usually go there for. We all love grilled squash and zucchini. They had none! In addition, while the restaurant was less than 1/3 full... More

We met some friends here for dinner while visiting Boston. It was extremely loud and very difficult to have a conversation. This was made ten times worse by the large group (12+) of rowdy college kids they put right next to us. (We’re in our 30s, so it’s not like we’re grumpy old fogies.) The concept is the same as... Really interesting place. The idea that you prepare your own meals is something that I haven't seen before. The staff is really friendly.

This restaurant had a very interesting concept. They give you a bowl and you fill it up at various different "bars" filled with your choice of meats, chicken fish etc, Then the pasta and veggies and some sauce to fish it off, They corral you to a position around a huge round grille, where the "chefs" cook what is in... My daughter had gone to the Cambridge Fire & Ice and talked about it, so while we where in Boston we decided to try out Fire & Ice in Boston for lunch during the week. It was not too crowded for lunch which was surprising to me. After ordering our drinks at the table the waitress explained what we had... More

Fire and Ice is always my go-to restaurant when I have friends visiting from out of town. Not only is the buffet/grill process a lot of fun, but the food is absolutely delicious. I'd recommend that skip a meal before going, because you'll probably eat ten pounds of food while you're there. Tip: Get yourself a burger. They make a... More

Great selection and amount of food. Definitely bring an appetite. Just have to remember no free refills on any drinks.

The food tasted great. Nice selection. Reasonable pricing for downtown Boston and amount of food! Negative: tough for large group. We had group of 8 including two elementary aged children. They needed help gathering their raw food. We all cooked together. But,when we got to table, one son didn't like the mac/cheese since it was grilled preparation. Other son wasn't... More

We had dinner here over Labor Day weekend. The food was delicious and the dining style is truly unique. However, there were a lot of things that needed improvement. The hosts seemed to be unhappy to be there, and then our server disappeared forever leaving us with salads and no silverware. Our bowl drink took until dinner was served to... More
