We stumbled upon this restaurant while in Back Bay for a retirement services conference. The friendly hostess seated us immediately and explained how the food worked. Being a vegetarian, I headed for the delicious vegetables. I'm allergic to salmon, so my food was cooked on a separate grill in the back room. Delicious food! Fun place! A bit loud, but... More

My family has gone to Fire and Ice in Providence on 2 occasions and absolutely loved it. So when we saw Boston had one we decided it was time to go again. The service was fair but we arrived during a shift change and were forgotten until I asked another what happened to our drinks. Then the cooks enjoyed there... More

I was spending the day in Boston with my daughter and 3 grandchildren (ages 3, 7, & 16). Our first stop was lunch at Fire & Ice, a family favorite. As we were approaching the restaurant a large group (100 or so students) walked in ahead of us. Once we got in to the restaurant we questioned whether we should... More

Went to this place when visiting Boston with friends. It was fantastic. The waitress gave us a brief overview of how everything worked, the food was great and the chefs were fun and sociable. One of my friends is a vegan and he had a great choice too with many things pointed out to be vegan friendly.

This was one of the most fun and engaging restaurant experiences. I really like that they cook your food in front of you, and the all-you-can-eat deal always suits a student traveler! The variety of food available was impressive, and each bowl I had was cooked to perfection. Get chatting to the people waiting for food next to you, you... More

Went to celebrate a birthday. Now I should say we were 45 minutes late and everyone at restaurant was gracious. ( the rest of the group, arrived on time). The waitress gave us a little lesson and we were off. Course one, salad. Standard salad bar items but, no shredded cheese. Not a deal breaker but kind of odd not to... More

This was a very pleasant experience and such a neat concept, you make your meal the way you want it. First you are seated to a table, there are large white bowls at your table, after ordering your drinks you take your bowl to a buffet of raw food. You choose from rice noodles, different kinds of pastas, beef chicken... More

I've been to many Boston restaurants, and this may not be super fancy, but it's super fun! Plus a great value. My dad and I recently went for lunch, only $11 each for all you can eat, same as dinner just a smaller bowl. I highly recommend it! So many choices too, I was stuffed!!

It would be a shame to visit Boston and not go to this place. It's a lot of fun. No it isn't a 5 star restaurant because you choose your ingredients - so that means it's only as good as the ingredients you chose to combine, but it is a blast and there's a lot to see, smell and hear!... More
