A lively and fun way to enjoy a meal out. At Fire and Ice you select your raw food from a huge buffet, and then take it to the central hotplate where the chefs fry it for you. Not really gourmet food but a set price for as much as you can eat, and fun for the kids. Book in... More

I have taken ownership of this review and noted that it is my nightmare not the restaurant per se. We ate here on our last night in Boston mostly because we wanted something a bit more fun, interesting and varied - which it certainly is. I also wanted some fresh vegetables - which in deed they serve. What I had... More

A very different concept in a restaurant but it is fun to choose your own food and sauce and watch it being cooked. Plenty of good food. It has a sports bar/college hangout feel so a good place to meet friends. Even when the line is long their huge grill lets them cook your food pretty fast.

We have been here many times and have always enjoyed our meals. You can be very creative with your food as you pick out your own pasta, veggies , meat, chicken or sausages!! Then you pick your own grilling sauces!! Fun to watch the guys at the grill prepare your meal!!! Look forward to next trip it!!

I recently had dinner at Fire and Ice as part of a small group. It had been several years since my last visit but not much has changed. The concept is that you pick out your ingredients, including meat, veggies, spices and sauces and then their cooks grill them on a large circular hibachi type grill. First, I have little... More

I've been to Fire and Ice twice now and find it a lot of fun. There is plenty of food to choose from and the price is reasonable. The food is really good but the shrimp is excellent. I had a hard time picking out a sauce but they allow you to sample them first which works out great. The... More

My partner, his brother and I visited Fire and Ice in Boston today for lunch. We arrived learning they have changed their menu and now serve brunch. Which meant they didn't have half the vegetables we usually go there for. We all love grilled squash and zucchini. They had none! In addition, while the restaurant was less than 1/3 full... More

We met some friends here for dinner while visiting Boston. It was extremely loud and very difficult to have a conversation. This was made ten times worse by the large group (12+) of rowdy college kids they put right next to us. (We’re in our 30s, so it’s not like we’re grumpy old fogies.) The concept is the same as... Really interesting place. The idea that you prepare your own meals is something that I haven't seen before. The staff is really friendly.
