I stop in once or twice a month --- that should be enough to say I love the food! I enjoy taking my wife or taking my co-workers. The setting can be romantic or corporate and the staff has always been accommodating. Recommended to me originally by my sister Sashiri who also attends on a frequent basis.

Ciao Bella, we should have said bye bye to this place the moment I walked up to the door. Us new yorkers know are restaurants and I know there are way better places in Boston, but the only reason I came here was because a "hook-up" said this was one of her favorite restaurants. I wish we could have sat... More

We were quickly shown to an outside table of our choice, which was very good to people watch on a sunny evening. The waitress took our order and quickly returned with the drinks - unfortunately the food took a lot longer and did not always replicate what we had ordered. The food was very poor and all of our party... More

Wonderful location at Newbury street, with a wonderful terrace. Italian food is good, but not great, quite a few of the pastas have the same tomato-y based sauce and land up tasting very similar. However some of their dishes are more than original. Staff is good, prices are reasonable, altough slightly higher that expected.

My wife and I decided to do some restaurant hopping on Newbury, and Ciao Bella was one of the four we ended up at. It was restaurant week, but we wanted to be different so we did appetizers and wine at each (we ended up not being hungry enough for a full dinner at the first place we started at)... More

I ran into Ciao Bella yesterday at lunch time. The place was full and that always means it might be good, so I came in and sat in the terrace. The service was excellent from the start. I had the lobster sandwich and I liked it very much.

We had the crab cakes, and two pasta dishes. The crab cakes were very small for the price. You could have taken one bit to eat them. The pasta dishes were $20-$25 and came in small bowls and were something I could easily make at home. Not worth the $ at all! The server was great though and we sat... More

We wanted to eat at another restaurant but it was too crowded and we would have had to wait a long time. This was next door and I was starving so we dropped in. I ordered the chicken parm sandwich. The slices of bread were thin and full of holes. The pasta sauce was seeping out of the holes and... More

Decent Italian, though you can do better in Boston. Also, parking in the area is always a nightmare.
