I've been going to Stephanie's for years. HUGE fan! Live in the neighborhood. Been to her other restaurants too. The meatloaf is a thing of comfy genius. But the staff was less than grand. Recently I've been reading other reviews from other goers and they have had the same experience with less than gracious staff, and hostesses, and I have... More

A great place to find yourself if strolling up and down Newbury street. A well healed place with great buzz. Outside seating has no awning/shelter and caused everyone to scamper inside when a small summer shower sprinkled on us. Only those with umbrellas survived!! I'd be happy to dine there again.

Fun to sit outside at Stephanie's on Newbury. The waitress was nice and accommodating. The food was fine but nothing fabulous. I had the Cuban Sandwich and it was okay. Happy to know they enforced the city rules that dogs must remain in front of the fence at an outdoor cafe. Several people walked up and asked if they could... More

I had brunch with my family here today and you should preferably make reservations. the food is gourmet at the least and that's for breakfast. I had the ham and cheese omelet, there were two orders of eggs benedict, one breakfast Mexican fajita plate, and a Belgian waffle, every last bight was of only the finest ingredients.. five stars all... I admit that the 73F, sunny non-humid sky-blue weather influenced the experience but the staff, sips and salad were special too. The hostess was honest and spot on with the wait time for sidewalk seating. They also have a small wrought iron fence creating just enough barrier b/w patrons and passersby. The tuna tartare was tasty and plentiful. Even though... More

I have eaten at Stephanie's occasionally over the years and have always been happy. Even given the large number of seats, there was attention to preparation, always delicious. Not surprising given they had a chef who won a Food Network competition. But this time the service was flat, with a laconic wait staff, the food was poorly seasoned and not... More

I was so impressed with the menu here that I ate here twice in one week. Both food and location are excellent. Sunday brunch drinks were a little expensive, but I am sure they were everywhere.

Enjoyed very much the lively atmosphere at this busy place on Boston's Newbury St. Large outside seating area if you like people-watching but we opted for a booth inside. Good service and I particularly liked the selection of local craft bottled beers from local breweries on the bar menu. Huge portions throughout - a "starter" of bruschetta was enough for... More

Very busy place, nice seating outside, although we sat at the bar since it was a 30 min wait outside. Drinks were good, clam chowder was tasty, and we ordered the lobster roll and ham sandwich. For our app, tuna tar tar was perfect, would definitely return!

The adult beverages made the wait pleasant. Once we were seated, we had a great time, great service, and a great meal. We shared several appetizers - the bad thing was they were so good we were too full to get an entree!
