Consitent and great brunch in the back bay

We visited on Saturday for a little brunch and a bloody Mary. We were lucky that we arrived before 9AM, when the place tends to fill up fast. We got a nice table, albeit small and a bit crowded. My wife got one of the brunch specials and it was lovely. I got pancakes and they were great. Out... read more

Menu features creative variations of classic dishes. Frankly not all that exciting and the service is slow. expensive for what you get.

We walked in for a late lunch and were told there was a 45 min wait. We got sat on time across from the kitchen. This place is much noisier than I remember. Fifteen minutes went by before someone came over to see what we wanted to drink. We ordered our food which was decent and came out pretty quickly.... More

My first time at Stephanie's was a few weeks ago as I was stopping in for a day on my way to Ireland and visiting friends (I used to live here, but never went to this restaurant). Sitting at the bar, I ordered a cup of coffee and it was decent, nothing to write home about and certainly could have... More

Shared a salmon salad and an italian panini with a friend, and it was enough. The service was quick, it was great for people watching because we were in the outside area (closed during winter). I loved the salmon salad, it had little clementines, edamame beans. The flavour of the italian panini was god, but the bread was hard.

I went here with my boyfriend and his friends recently while in town for the first time. We had brunch and it was good, but quite overpriced for what it was. Don't get me wrong, it had a really nice vibe and the food was good, but I think $18 for a tuna melt on an English muffin is a... More

Salad & Salad!!! Skip if you're vegetarian! Nothing tofu - nothing seasonal (i.e. root vegetables Etc). Quite disappointed.

Nice restaurant - not too fancy and reasonable prices. I arrived on a busy friday night and the other member of my party was running late - I was asked to wait in the bar area - which was busy but I got served in a reasonable time frame. Good wine selection. The meal was good standard - and portion... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
