Good.

I had the Chicken Parmigiana which was good. Nice service, atmosphere and prices. Located in the middle of all the excitement in Boston's North end.

We actually had a reservation at Il Panino. When we were called for our table we followed the hostess on a serpentine route that ended in Cafe Pompei. They both must have identical menus as we were given identical menus with different restaurant names on the top. We went on a Friday night and it was LOUD!!!!! The food was... More

I had the most delicious, most fresh tasting Chicken Alfredo of my life. I am quite a cook myself, but this blew me away. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was quiet and refreshing. A beautiful stop along our way.

We were staying in the North End of Boston and chose this place because it had no line but looked pretty good (the people inside seemed satisfied). It wasn't bad but not spectacular either. Just an average Italian place.

We were a group of 10 locals and visitors from US and India. We bet on this restaurant since it has enough seating area for group of this size. We ordered a verity of dishes, some vegetarian, some not. All guest were very satisfied from the food. Service was great as well, polite and helpful.

We had the worst pizza of our four week trip to the USA and Canada here. The service was terrible too with the food just plonked on our table.

We came for breakfast at 9 am on a Sunday morning, we were seated promptly and given coffee, no spoons, no cream. Half hour later we went up and got our own. Waitress came over and took our order at 9:35, we walked out at 10:30 having never received our breakfast. Enough said!

My husband and I enjoyed our sunny breezy window spot in this cute, quaint cafe. Amazing coffee, cappuccino, Italian sausage, banana French toast! Great service.

Friendly service. Highly recommend the Shrimp Scampi or Lasagna. Plenty of room. Accommodated my handicapped mother.

Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
