We really wanted to try some great pizza in the North End Italian part of Boston during our stay. We looked up some reviews online and also an article with top pizza places in Boston and found Ernesto's to be ranked well. However, we were really disappointed with our food. They did not have many of the pizza options they... More

We had to try this place after several recommendations from locals. I was not very impressed. At times, there is a thin line between a place with character and a dive. No ambiguity here...this place is definitely a dive. The floors and all the tables were dirty and no effort was being made to clean up. Za is served on... More

First of all, I'm sorry for writing a review without actually trying their stuff, but my excuse is I wanted to, came there, and want to warn my tripadvisor fellows: you'd better look for some other place. This pizzeria looked pretty dirty inside, and what I didn't like is many pizzas were already prepared and were offered by slice. I... More

After reading so many good reviews here, I must admit that I was really looking to forward to trying their pizza. I went on a Wednesday night around 5 pm and we were placing our order within minutes. The younger guy behind the counter provided fast, friendly, service. As for the pizza, I had the plain cheese slices and I... More

As you walk by Ernesto's, the smell of hot pizza entices you to enter. There are approximately 10 small tables in this pizzeria and you can order a whole pizza (about $16-18) or by the slice. A slice is really two large slices and more than enough to fill one person. Highly recommend you check this place out (on Salem... More

I love places like this. You can grab a good slice and know it will be filling. Small place but that's what I look for. Smaller places usually focus more on the quality of the sauce and overall taste. Good value. I definitely recommend.

The place is small and cozy, the pizza tastes real good! Although they are already prepared and warmed up when you order.

The plain cheese pizza is excellent with near perfect crust. This place is an authentic North End treasure.
