Great service and menu. Typical high end pricing but very reasonable. Great bread and condiments. The stuffed zucchini flowers hold up to my favorite restaurant in Rome. The papardelle with wild boar held up to what I experienced in Orvieto. The veal chop was simply the best I have ever had. The Angelloti excellent. The branzino was good but I... More

Just enjoyed a very lovely meal at Bricco. Very busy and buzzy in the north end. Great service and well prepared and tasty food. A good choice for a classy night out in the north end.

recently in Boston for business, my concierge recommended this restaurant in the fanous Italian quarter. Ate here with a college, while the pasta and carpaccio starter excellent and just as our concierge had said, sadly our waiter Chris M did not meet expectation. Too casual in approach with uncaring attitude, he seemed to be more interested in socializing with coworkers.... More

This is one of the nicer/fancier Italian Restaurants in town. Great quality and a bit higher priced. AMAZING food. I'd go here for a more special occasion not a quick bite.

Mussels, salad and Brizzano made for a superb meal, properly cooked and nicely seasoned, gave us the meal we wanted. AS with many Hanover Street Restaurants in the North End, they are very popular and therefore cramped and noisy and sometimes do not live up to there ratings, but this time we were very please and we still believe that... Best food I have had in boston. Great atmosphere, great service. Emilio might be the most impressive and helpful server I have ever had. Knew the menu very well. Remembered what we liked and didn't like from a week prior. And clearly loves helping people to have a great dining experience. Wild Boar Ragu highly recommend.

This was a nice find. It's an upscale, slightly modern Italian restaurant in the middle of Boston's Italian North End neighborhood. I loved the atmosphere. Big bar and lots of seating. But the place is definitely popular. I was able to grab a spot at the bar on a weeknight, no problem. The bartender was very friendly. The bread is... More

Went there 4 of us for dinner. Very very crowded restaurant level of noise is high. Luckily we got window table so was in the end we could have a conversation. Otherwise it would have been very difficult. The Bar is wrap around the restaurant and in one side "touch" the lines of tables. Its not fun to eat in... More

While in town for a convention, I had the pleasure to eat here twice with clients. The service was excellent, the waiters knew their business and the menu choices were varied. The food was excellent! I thought the prices were in line with the neighborhood. Reservations seem like they are a must.

Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
