When visiting Boston for the first time, we went to the Italian Quarter for dinner. Initially, we were overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of restaurants in the area. However, we eventually selected this one and are extremely glad that we did. This was some of the most incredible Italian food that any of us had ever had. After browsing the... More

Having had my fair share of disappointing North End dining experiences I was really impressed with a recent, first-time visit to Bricco. A couple girlfriends and I headed there on a beautiful Friday night in July and loved the open front doors facing Hanover St. It was a perfect night and gave this upscale, modern, italian spot an al fresco... My husband and I were headed to the North End to enjoy an early dinner. When the restaurant we wanted to go to wasn't yet opened, we crossed the street and checked out Bricco. While the prices are not inexpensive, the meal was amazing and well worth it! The server, Wolmar, recommended a wine that was in the same price... More

We enjoyed our recent dinner at Bricco in Boston's north end. We dined on a Sunday evening around 6:30pm, and were seated upstairs. (The first floor is open to the street and has a bit more action). Our waiter was attentive (at least at first), food arrived at q good pace from the kitchen, and overall was very good. Perhaps... More

I liked everything, from the friendly service to the most incredible food on the North End. The owner is always near by and ensures things are run properly. On our recent visit included numerous appetizers (ahi tuna, stuffed zucchini flowers), and a 2 lbs grilled lobster. The quality, flavor, presentation and home made breads were second to none.

Went for my office holiday party. Staff was very friendly, helpful, knowledgable. The food was awesome. Caprese salad app (how could you go wrong?) and a wild boar ragu that was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their food and the atmosphere immensely. We all walked away stuffed and a bit tipsy... :)

Reservation were made 2 days ahead of time, we got an 8:45pm seating. Sounds late for some but you certainly want to explore the North End, this seating time gave us plenty of time to do just that. Arrived and were seated promptly, upstairs on the 2nd floor. We were one table shy of window seating. Tables were beautifuly set.... More

All our food was delicious. Fun vibe, good energy in restaurant. Very knowledgeable waitstaff. They don't make a big deal of it - but these people hand-make gluten-free pasta daily! If you are celiac, this is such a treat. Best tasting pasta i've had in 10 years. If you are celiac, they can suggest sauces that are gluten-free. Not cheap,... More

We enjoyed a well appointed table with wonderful service from an Italian waiter, which really added to our experience. The food was delicious, but not your ordinary fare. Dishes were fresh and light, compared to more traditional restaurants, which we really enjoyed. The bread/bakery was outstanding. We really loved the eggplant and fresh catch that evening. We would have certainly... More

Did not eat in the restaurant, but bought some fresh bread directly off the bakers rack...parm and psosciutto...it was fantastic with a good cheese, Also, many speciality items in the store, try here and Polcaris, they have best selections, and friendly servers who wil help you select things you have not tried before, we recently tried farro.
