Not Your Typical Italian Restaurant

We ate dinner here on the evening before the Boston Marathon on the recommendation of a friend. Went to Bricco having visited their sister restaurant Mare which is exceptional. The restaurant is dark inside due to the dark wood paneling which is quite typical of European Italian restaurants, however not really to our taste, not their fault. Service was ok, however didn't stand out as anything special. The menu was ok however nothing captured our imagination the... More

We walked from the Boston Harbor Hotel and had a lovely dinner at Bricco. Very vibrant restaurant and bar scene. My husband and I had wonderful meals and there is an extensive wine list. It's not a quiet restaurant but the noise level is not overwhelming.

We were a party of 12 who just walked in- we were seated upstairs within 5-10 mins. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. The waiter was very knowledgable and made excellent recommendations. The wild boar papadelle was divine, as was the special burratta. Everyone in our party had a good meal, which is rare for large numbers. Food isn't cheap... More

The family recently shared a terrific Easter afternoon dinner at Bricco, one of our favorite North End restaurants. It has become a tradition for us to get together here to share the holiday over a wonderful, leisurely and elegant meal. This year we arrived as the lunch crowd was winding down. The main first floor room was buzzing, the service... More

I went here the other night for dinner. I had reservations (it was a Saturday night) which was a good thing because the place was packed. We were seated promptly. Our service was excellent, the food delicious, and the presentation lovely. My only complaint is that it was very noisy but I think that's the case for most city restaurants.... More

make sure you make reservations, as this place is very popular. excellent food and service, wish the bar area was a little more roomy as waiting for your table with the wait staff passing by with food can make for cramped conditions

My wife and I wanted an evening to relax and enjot a great dinner and Bricco's answered the bill superbly. Our server, Wolmar Ceolin greeted us promptly and managed every part of our meal. He made wine, appetizer and dinner suggestions and made the entire experience last night one of the best North End evenings we have had. Our daughter... More

A bit spendy but worth it. Excellent food and ambiance. Be sure to make a reservation- be sure to check out their market behind the restaurant.
