Great Food on North End

This is a small place on the North End, but I think it's in a great spot especially being so close to Mike's Pastries. The food here was really good and I would definitely come back to try some other entrées. That being said, while the food is the reason for a return visit, this place received a... read more

So good that we ate here twice during our short stay. Pasta is excellent and the location is perfect. All of the food we ate was better than expected.

We went here as part of our 25th Anniversary Celebration. This restaurant seemed to be bustling so we decided to check it out. We had a lovely meal. My husband had the pasta with broccoli and sausage, I had the linguine with meatballs. I enjoyed the flavor of the meatballs and sauce. Our server,Georgi, was very attentive and kind. Would... More

We sat up at the bar and had drinks and an appetizer while we decided our next activity. Had the calamari...very tasty! The couple next to us were eating dinner, and their food looked fabulous. They confirmed that it was very good....huge portions. Bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. Loved the open air atmosphere of the restaurant.

The North End has hundreds of fine dining establishments and all of them are very busy on weekends. The Florentine has a lovely and quiet lower level room perfect for larger groups from 8 to 20 or more. On Monday's you can use the area as a private function room at no extra charge. As you'd expect the leas are... More

My friend and I wanted to have dessert and a drink at the bar. The bartender was VERY rude and obnoxious. We were kicked out for no good reason! We were chatting at the end of the bar and they felt we were too loud so we got the boot. Locals said we were too loud and didn't want us... More

We stopped here for lunch about halfway throughout Freedom Trail walk. It was really busy, but our server was attentive. We had gnocchi, ravioli and pizza. The pizza was ok, the gnocchi and ravioli were delicious. The building has an old world cafe look. Worth stopping by if you are in the area.

Walking through North end and spotted this lovely restaurant. Tables near large windows that open out into the street. Flowers in windows boxes. Very nice. The breeze coming in was enjoyable. The waiter was attentive throughout, very friendly and answered our questions. Food was ordered quickly and came quickly. Nice turnover. I was hoping for a more robust sauce on... More

With so many choices for Italian in the North End, I don't know how this stakes up with locals. I found it great food for a decent price. The atmosphere was great with a window table and the action around.

The cafe has a nice atmosphere. Our food was good and came out in a timely manner. However, once we finished our waiter took way too long before bringing our check. He cleared our plates, then gave water out to several tables, set up a couple of tables and then finally brought our ticket. I would not have had a... More
