Delicious and authentic

We were killing time in Boston and decided to stop for lunch, it was delicious and decent size portions. The atmosphere was cozy and the ambience was very nice. I got for fruti de Mari, he got the lobster ravioli, we both got wine, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal, $60 with tip. Well worth the trip... read more

Antico Forno has long been our very favorite go-to restaurant in the North End. The food is consistently fabulous, the service is efficient (some servers are more friendly than others), and it's a great deal for an excellent, sit-down meal. On our most recent visit my daughter and I were hungry at the end of a long, busy, rainy day.... More

Ate here in Sunday night before the marathon. Very crowded but we had made a reservation the week before- we got in about 5 min after reservation time. Very Italian menu so understand that some items are not Americanized. I had fettuccine with ham and cream sauce- very good. Others had pizza and spaghetti-also good. Would eat here again

you need a reservation but don't miss this one, super tasty everything we ordered. A little pricey but we were warned. Service was great and accommodating. Pasta specials were delicious. I had the lobster stuffed ravioli with a tomato sauce and shrimp! Finished every bite of that huge serving. Wine was excellent and reasonable price. Peroni beer always good choice

Went for lunch. Place was empty with the exception of about 6 patrons. Could not get anyone to serve us. We looked back a number of times and saw the staff standing there. Finally after waiting 15 minutes we left. Went around the corner to Quattros which was packed yet we had immediate service and excellent food!

In the North End but not on the main street...worth finding. The food was amazing and the prices very reasonable. The only negative was our server wasn't very friendly which really surprised me.

When visiting Boston our good friends from there always take us to Antico Forno for a fabulous meal. By all means get off the touristy throughoufare of Hanover St and get over to Antico Forno or La Osteria for authentic fresh Italian. The wood fired pizzas here are awesome, as are any of the freshly made pasta dishes (and by... More

We visited Antico Forno on the advice of our Guide Book. It was a bit hard to find in Boston's North End but I'm glad we kept looking. We went for lunch after missing out on breakfast, so we were hungry. The hostess and waiters were very attentive. My daughters ordered from the regular menu (gnocchi and fettucini) and my... More

Antico Forno is my favorite - bar none - restaurant in the North End. I've been coming here for over 15 years, and have yet to be disappointed with ANY meal. First, the ambiance: Antico Forno is a bustling mom-and-pop type of place, serving comfort-food style meals. If you want something romantic, you might want to go elsewhere - seating... More

Best dining experience of our weekend trip to Boston. Place was already full at 5:30 pm and for good reason. Definitely try the chicken parm and share a pizza for an appetizer. Nice, affordable wine selection. Kids had a great time too - our kids blended perfectly in the relatively high noise level. Canolis at Mike's Pastry a few blocks... More
