Went with family on a recent trip! Going with my grandmothers "boyfriend" who is a true Italian, I was a little intimidated upon picking the restaurant to go to from all of the choices in the North End. We all loved Antico Forno. Donna our server made me feel like home right away. She was great with recommendations, also giving... More

Cozy, friendly service. Very good risotto porcini, roasted pork chops, rigatoni salsiccia, chianti and tiramisu. Loved the ambiance so much we returned a couple of days later for coffee, Gran Marnier and cannolli. We just wandered in and what a find! Highly recommended! Reasonable prices.

Located in the north end of Boston; easy to find almost on the end of Salem street as you walk south. Area known for all the Italian restaurants. Great smells and great portions of food. Place was not busy for a lunch hour meal!! It appeared to us that most of the staff did not speak English as we got... More

I went to this restaurant on a Sunday night at 8:30 pm. I was surprised how empty it was, but maybe we missed the Sunday dinner crowd. We started with the arancini which were delish. I had the risotto del giorno which was fabulous. My in-laws had pasta dishes which were also very good. My husband's Ginocchi was the weakest... More

Great menu and good home made style Italian food. Wine smooth and delightful but don't expect to have conversation as this place is very, very noisy.

We had made a reservation for a late dinner at 10:30 online. When we arrived, we were told that the kitchen was closed. However as soon as they found out we had made a reservation, they reopened the kitchen and welcomed us in. The food was an amazing. The arancini balls were the best I have had. Great find!

There are sooo many choices in Boston's North End and we were delighted with this choice! An amazing pizza, sharing a pasta and a glass of Chianti followed by cappuccino…seated by the open windows opening on to the street so we could people watch….what's not to love!

The Linguini Frutti Di Mare is something to actually dream about, add a few glass of Chianti DaVinci and you had what any intelligent person would travel to Italy for….. The North End has an endless supply of terrific places to dine, lunch or dinner, alone or with guests and family. Antico Forno is on the top of the list.... More

We have eaten here on several trips to Boston. The food is always fantastic. We visited during the St. Anthony festival in the North End and did not have to wait long for our table. This is a must every time we travel to Boston.

The north end of Boston is loaded with Italian restaurants (over 100 in a 4 block radius), and there is none better than Antico Forno. A full Italian menu with many regional, seafood specialties, all prepared to perfection. Excellent wine selection as well. Add this gem to your next Boston itinerary and you won't be disappointed.
