Great menu and good home made style Italian food. Wine smooth and delightful but don't expect to have conversation as this place is very, very noisy.

We had made a reservation for a late dinner at 10:30 online. When we arrived, we were told that the kitchen was closed. However as soon as they found out we had made a reservation, they reopened the kitchen and welcomed us in. The food was an amazing. The arancini balls were the best I have had. Great find!

There are sooo many choices in Boston's North End and we were delighted with this choice! An amazing pizza, sharing a pasta and a glass of Chianti followed by cappuccino…seated by the open windows opening on to the street so we could people watch….what's not to love!

The Linguini Frutti Di Mare is something to actually dream about, add a few glass of Chianti DaVinci and you had what any intelligent person would travel to Italy for….. The North End has an endless supply of terrific places to dine, lunch or dinner, alone or with guests and family. Antico Forno is on the top of the list.... More

We have eaten here on several trips to Boston. The food is always fantastic. We visited during the St. Anthony festival in the North End and did not have to wait long for our table. This is a must every time we travel to Boston.

The north end of Boston is loaded with Italian restaurants (over 100 in a 4 block radius), and there is none better than Antico Forno. A full Italian menu with many regional, seafood specialties, all prepared to perfection. Excellent wine selection as well. Add this gem to your next Boston itinerary and you won't be disappointed.

We took advantage of "Restaurant Week" and one of us got the 3 course lunch for $20. The other got the fettucini bolognese. All the dishes were at least competently prepared, with a starter of a tomato-based fish stew and a main course of large ravioli the standouts. The setting was casual and open and the service friendly and good.... More

Great food, great atmosphere (loud), great service, great price - what more do you need. I'd recommend you give it a go.

I love the north end and go there often for dinner. I live in Boston and take my family and friends who visit me to these great italian restaurants all the time. I heard they had great brick oven pizza, so I wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, the restaurant seemed overcrowded, overbooked and understaffed. Our reservation was for... More

In our never-ending search for a top quality North End Italian Restaurant, we decided on Antico. Dining room is somewhat dark, and tables are close together, so if you're claustrophobic, this probably isn't for you. However, the food...the bread was fresh & delicious with the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which is often an indicator of overall food quality. Mixed green... More
