Good good and service

Dinner sat nite. Very good food and service. Very crowded and noisy and long wait despite reservation. St. Anthony festival may be cause. Would recommend for authentic Italian dining experience in Boston's north end.

We were exploring Boston's North End and came to this place because it was recommended by Fodor's. We ordered rigatoni, gnocchi, seafood risotto (the day's special), and two arugula pizzas. Having been to Italy, I can say that the food was good, but not spectacular. The risotto and rigatoni were the best of what we ordered. Gnocchi a little dry.... More

Good dinner , good decorations, good service, delicious food. It's all about this restaurant. Just very noisy. With baby it was slightly difficult.

Busy place but that's fine because the food is worth it. Ate here twice while in Boston. Pasta one night and pizza another. Both were tremendous.

I've been coming here for three years now, most recently at the end of July 2015 and I've never had a bad experience. Always a wide variety of clientele--families, friends, couples, business groups. Food is always piping hot. Service can be a little slow at times, but it's never awful and they're always pleasant. It does get busy so either... More

As many others have mentioned, we wandered Boston's North End. When deciding where to eat we asked a local. He recommended Antico Forno. Weather was wonderful. The large windows were open allowed the fresh air in. Our family of four arrived before the evening rush, around 5:00 pm, without a reservation. We were seated immediately and serviced by a very... There are so many restaurants to pick from in the North End and this is one of the better of the bunch. You have to get past some stiff servers and few smiles from other staff to get to their well spiced food. Their pizza is to die for, thin crust, perfect sauce, a bit small for the price but... More

Not planning on returning. After reading the reviews I booked a table for the evening in the morning on a Sunday. The place had a line out the door but due to our reservation we were seated within 10 min. The food was comparable to other Tuscan pizza places my family has been to however it didn't stand out. We... More

This restaurant had great ambience! The food was delicious, but the service could certainly be improved. The waitress was not very friendly, we didn't get drink refills as often as necessary, and we had to get up and ask for our bill. The food was pricey but good-authentic Italian food.
