The food was good, I had a rally nice pizza and a very sizeable antipasto. However, the head waitress was incredibly rude, not only did she decide to violently over pour the bottle of red wine we ordered into glasses so we had to order another, but the same was repeated with water. In fact there was so much water... More

The north end has so many good restaurants. Antico Forno is a great place. Be prepared to wait or make a reservation. We started with a caprese salad (it's July, so the tomato was fantastic). I had the puttanesca, my husband had the gnocchi. Both were delicious. Service was fast, but I didn't feel rushed. We may go back off... More

moderate wait time to be seated for 2 people. however we seated against the open windows. The windows fold to open therefore half of my space was taken by the window glass and i had to sit so that 1/4 of my body was in the small isle. The tables are very very close together and it does feel that... More

Visited this restaurant in July for dinner. The restaurant was very crowded with families and very noisy. The tables are very close together. The food was good, but not huge portions. The service was good and very quick, which may be good for families with children, but not good for adults who don't want to rush through their meal. This... More

I would give this restaurant 3-4 rating. The food was excellent. They had a wide variety to chose from...salads, pizzas, pasta and chicken & veal entrees. The service from the actual server was almost non existent. The busboy did all the work. He refilled waters, cleared the table, brought extra bread. And the real kicker is that a party of... More

Let me begin by stating that my grandparents were Italian immigrants so I am picky about Italian food. My Husband and I ate here last night, and we are still talking about our meals.....longingly! The pasta is all freshly made. It is the first fettuccini I have ever had.....including in Italy.....that was as good as my grandmother's homemade pasta. The... More

It was crowded on a Sunday night, but I found an open bar stool with a friendly bartender from England. I think the wait for a table was around an hour. I had the Fruitti Di Mare, which was excellent. I guess they pan cook it and then put it in a ceramic bowl wrapped in foil and paper and... More

We always try a new restaurant while visiting the North End but this one I will return to when we get back up to Boston. We arrived at 4:30 on a Saturday and were seated immediately. We had a nice table by the window to people watch. The tables are a little close together but that's okay. We were served... More

Reserved two tables of 4 people online since the system wouldn't allow us to reserve a table for 8 people. Missed our orginial reservation and the hostess was happy to change our reservation to a later time when I called and to give us one table for 8 people. Arrived at the restaurant at 8:10 for our 8 pm reservation... More
