Family dinner - felt like a special treat

Book up ahead as it gets really busy. Family dinner - food was delicious and staff made us feel welcome giving us advice on our forthcoming Cape Cod trip. Highly recommended. Specials particularly enjoyed as were desserts

On a family vacation to Boston, we were going to head to the North End for Italian but instead, Toscano caught our eye and we were not disappointed. It's in a beautiful part of Boston. The menu is great, a good mix of traditional and more creative options, all very well prepared and flavorful. The service was extremely good, very... More

Toscano is located on Charles Street, which is one of Boston's most quaint and visited streets (great shopping too). The food at Toscano is very typical Italian, northern Tuscan food. And I say typical of Italy, not American-Italian. The dishes are authentic, fresh, and the menu is extensive. I was in a large party in the grotto room and the... More

Probably the best Italian restaurant in America!! Fantastic service and the best tiramisu in town!! This dinner was probably also our best family dinner we've ever had!

We stopped here for lunch after walking up and down Charles Street looking for something cool and quiet. Everything else was crowded and noisy. This place is a little more pricey than the other options so it was quiet. Our server was kind and attentive. The decor is lovely. We had paninis and flatbreads...all delicious and fresh.

On a nice summer night, sit at the front of the restaurant near the window. The restaurant may open the windows and you can hear the people on the street as well as enjoy the fresh air.

I never complain about wait staff, but I thought our waitress was very unfriendly. She made my husband and I feel un-welcomed. We could have had better Italian food by opening a jar of Ragu. Everything was very blah. We expected more for the price. I'm giving it a 2 instead of a one because I liked the decor, and... More

An Italian restaurant that is not traditional in it's menu. My wife and I had dishes that aren't are usual fare and although prepared well and the younger crowd would love it It wasn't doing it for us. No veal parm. I'm sure it's great and people love it but not something great for me.

It was our first time at Toscano's, but it won't be our last! It's right on Charles Street on historic Beacon Hill. The restaurant has great ambiance, with dark wood and brick interior and seats at the window where you can watch people walking around this trendy neighborhood. It's a destination restaurant for people who live in the suburbs, but... More
