This was our first time to this restaurant, but had heard and read great reviews about it. We started off with a perfect martini. Moved on to carpaccio and bruschetta. Both awesome. We then ordered salads, which were quite large and should have shared one, but they were both delicious. We then ordered bolognese and scaloppine limone. Amazing sized portions,... More

I enjoyed a business dinner last night at Toscano. The pastas were delicious and the swordfish was excellent. They have a long list of specials each night apparently and many of those sounded intriguing. Nice wine list-- mostly Italian. Good service. Great location below Beacon Hill. I will go back. I didn't have it but everyone raved about the gnocchi.

While on business my business group wanted to try authentic Italian cuisine. This place was highly recommended by our concierge at our hotel. Very nice, dark atmosphere. Tables are a bit placed together, but all in all a fun and relaxing place to enjoy conversation with friends. The waiter was very nice and his support staff was quick to freshen... More

I went with my wife and daughter for lunch at this restaurant, the menu is impressive but the food was average on the pizza & the salmon, I ordered the linguine vongole which was awful the clams were smelling stinky, when I mentioned it to the staff they were arguing that this is an odd clam that happens usually, I... We had lunch there on a not so busy Saturday last week. We got a table for two fairly quickly, and within a minute we were asked if we are ready to order. When we said that we didnt get a chance to look at the menu, the waiter gave us a scary look and disappeared for 15 minutes. Any... More

I had a lovely lunch here with a friend. We started by sharing an appetizer of grilled squid, then I had orrechiette vitello. My only regret was that I was too full for dessert.

The restaurant was really nice and the food was excellent, along with great service. However, one suggestion would be for them to change the flatware they use. Very uncomfortable in the hand and very top heavy at back. Does not fit well in hand and just not proper for dinning. More authentic italian food, with great flavor. Other locations are... More

On a sunny Saturday, we strolled from the Mass General to this wonderful ristorante at the part of Charles Street close to the Public Garden. After many visits for dinner, this was our first time for lunch, and it was excellent. One of the specials was soft shell crabs, a personal favorite, and I have never had it done better.... More

Even though we were clearly tourists, everyone made you feel like you were an old friends. Great attentive service throughout the meal. Lots of choices and everything was prepared well. The risottos and pastas are the stars. Nice wine list with good selection of Italian wines. Try the tiramisu.

Had a very nice dinner with friends in this restaurant. The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming. Our waiter was very friendly and got the service just right (not too much, not too little). I had the lobster ($32) which I felt was overdone as the meat was mostly gummy and in some parts not actually that nice. For proper... More
