A friendly gem at the foot of Beacon Hill

Wonderful local atmosphere and friendly bar scene with some great Italian wines, reasonably priced. Not too hungry, just ask for a 1/2 portion off already reasonable prices. Be sure to ask for the extra virgin olive oil for your salad and bread...

A taste of Italy at its best...Our experience was a great one from the moment we walked in until the time we finished dessert. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and we couldn't have asked for much more.

Very nice place/environment. Older building in Beacon Hill area. Parking is bad as to be expected in area (virtually non-existent). Food is good and prepared well. The pastas are fresh and highly recommended. Only complaint is it's a LOUD place (terrible acoustics) where any amount of sound gets amplified to the point of annoying. We had these obnoxious people at... More

My fourth time to eat here did not disappoint - it never does. Since the first time I ate here four years ago, it is one of my "must eat there" while in Boston. GREAT and very knowledgeable staff, great food and wine. Don't miss this one!

I had dinner here with a colleague while we were in town for business. The place was packed on a Monday night, but they were able to find us a table in the front section across from the bar. I'd highly recommend reservations even mid-week! I had the roasted vegetables as a starter and they were wonderful! Great variety and... More

We happened to walk in on a Wednesday night at 5pm without a reservation. We were lucky to get in without a problem. There were about 4 specials that all sounded delicious. The shrimp, pesto, linguini was good just the right amount of pesto.

When we come to the city so enjoy this restaurant. Great atmosphere staff is friendly. Good wine selection and the meals are delicious from the appetizers to dessert. We had 10oz filet of beef done perfect. The scallops with spinach. Filet of Sole. Yummy desserts a great evening

This was a very romantic beautiful place. The food was outstanding and the wait staff bent over backward to accommodate us. I can't wait to go back in may. Make sure you make a reservation before you go. They are very busy.
