Either I'm missing something or we hit a bad night but we were underwhelmed by our dinner at B&G this evening. The wine list was extensive but with the lowest-priced choices hovering at $45, that's not much of a choice. The oysters are amazing, the fried clams are amazing, the lobster roll is amazing. Probably everything here is amazing, but it is very expensive, so save it for a big night out! more
I went here having read good reviews of their lobster roll. it had generous amounts of meat, but it was not great, and at $28 on the high priced side. it was a bit dry and I had to ask for more sauce. the place is quiet and elegant inside, and has a nice dining area in the garden. serious... more

Great service, very friendly wait staff! The oysters were shucked and prepared as ordered. Shrimp cocktail were huge and the waitress kindly brought at old bay seasoning for me!
