Yummy

One of the few places open after one of the many storms that pounded Boston this year. After walking from my hotel looking for something other than hotel or mall food I was welcomed by two very helpful young ladies that offered menu suggestions and were happy to help with a togo order. This restaurant was recommended to us for good Italian food. Food was not inexpensive. One of our party bit on a olive pit in her pizza. The staff inquired but no real compensation. Pasta dishes were average and the ravioli was hard on the edges. The pizza other than the pit was tasty. Just average overall. The portion sizes were... More

We found Papa Razzi a bit by accident, but its a lovely spot to sit outside in the sun when its time to rest from the Newbury St shops. Good range of sandwiches, salads, pizza and pastas and considering location, decent value. So good we went back twice in three days during our trip.

We were looking for a family-friendly restaurant in the Back Bay area. My extremely picky six-year-old daughter drove the search because I knew she'd at least eat pasta! At first I thought it was too posh as we schlepped into the pristine entrance shaking off our wet clothes, but I was reassured after the smiling host handed picky daughter a... More

After driving around and around trying to find parking we arrived 15 minutes before reservation and the gals at the door were snippy and offered us a four top in the bar which we declined(we are short and it is too crowded/uncomfortable) the food is tasty but the service was terrible! Our waiter decided to cater to a different table... More

The food is pretty and usually really salty. Staff is friendly and always helpful. It is reliably good. And the folks are accommodating.

The spaghetti and pizza are fantastic as well as the sangria. The chocolate brownie dessert is very tasty. Service is good as well as the price point. Location is also great if you are out shopping.

This is an old fashioned pasta and meatball sort of restaurant. If you want new wave Italian go elsewhere. This is traditional fare cooked well, served professionally, and well priced. If you are in the Copley Square area, this is worth walking a few blocks for a meal. There is two floors and the upstairs keeps you away from the... More

I live right down the street from this restaurant and, because of what I perceived as a confusing decor, I really never felt motivated to go. When I finally did go, I was pleasantly surprised at an appealing menu and a broad range of options for a non-meat, carb-averse eater. I will go again.

I was looking for some authentic Italian eats but I was in Copley Square with snow everywhere & didn't want to go out to the North End and wait outside to get into one of those small restaurants. After a quick search on MapQuest to see what was nearby, I found Papa Razzi (love the name!). The staff was friendly,... More
