On the corner of Newbury and Dartmouth,we had no problem getting in.Above average pasta fare, but I considered a bit expensive for what it was: 60 dollars for 2 courses,2 drinks and 1 dessert

Walking down Newbury Street, we chose to stop at Papa Razzi because it wasn't overly crowded and seemed reasonably priced. We were not disappointed. The ambiance was nice, as we were able to sit outside on the lower-level streetside patio. We started with the bruschetta, which was only two pieces of toasted bread piled high with tomatoes and mozzarella. (More... More

We were walking along Newbury Street in the Back Bay neighborhood on a recent visit to Boston and decided to stop for a bite to eat. We walked in to Papa Razzi by chance and asked if they had seating available. We were sat immediately upstairs as the outdoor patio was full. The decor is charming and comfortable in a... More

There was a wait for the outside seating, so we chose to be seated inside. Nicely decorated, this was a great find on Newberry Street. My husband hade the veal Parmesan, which was one large, tender and flavorful piece of veal served over pasta with marinara. Delicious...as good as we have ever had anywhere...better even. I ordered spaghetti Vongole, also... More

Visited Papa Razzi during a vacation in Boston on a really, really busy night for the restaurant (which might account for the off aspects I mention below). We ordered the gnocchi, the cavatappi pasta and salads. The cavatappi pasta was excellent. The gnocchi had good flavor but was a tad overcooked, but fine. We liked the fact that we could... More

I found this place on trip advisor and I liked it. Good italian food and a nice choice of wines (also half bottles). A mistake was made in the order, quickly fixed and as a compensation the coffee was on the house. Very good service. Friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is visited by both business people and families.

Pizza was like came out of microwave, then we ordered the special Scallops. Scallops themselves were pretty good size, but way overcooked, completely dry, and the sish was 26 dollars, price compare to pretty high end restaurant. Service was OK. Our waiter felt bad to see our disappointed faces.

We were staying at nearby Copley Square and visited Papa Razzi having seen its reviews on Trip Advisor. The service was attentive and quick and the food very good. I had spaghetti with meatballs and others in my family had chicken with lemon and penne with chicken and asparagus. The food was well proportioned and very tasty. Overall an enjoyable... More

Had lunch here one day with a group of friends. Hostess on phone and at front door was friendly and helpful. Chicken was cold for those of us who ordered it and portions for other guests were small for prices. Bathroom was not clean. After ordering the first set of drinks we did not see a Drink Server until we... More

Stumbled on this restaurant using Trip Adviser. It is very close to Copley Square where our hotel is, but worth the walk if you have to come a distance. Food was good and there was a great selection. We went by chance on a specials night when all the main courses were $15.99 and this included the steak. This was... More
