Went with a group of 6 on a snowy New Year's Eve..staff was welcoming, ambiance sitting in a curved leather booth was cozy, and food, from appetizers to dessert, was outstanding! Loved that the regular dinner menu was offered and that the waiter told us that the gratuity had been included in our bill. more

We held my Dad's 80th birthday celebration at Union, with 13 people. It was a busy holiday weekend, so we had to take a 6:00 reservation and be prompt, but it was worth it. I'm in Boston often for work and this is absolutely my favorite restaurant. I take clients here and recommend it to everyone! Quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Great, knowledgeable wait staff. Non-pretentious simple food. The best thing on the menu is the chicken with cornbread stuffing. Delicious! more

Very nice restaurant in the South End. Valet on Friday night but had to pay for parking ($16) upfront. All staff members were extremely welcoming and we were seated for our reservation right away.
