The menu was wonderful and then the special was Halibut, a dream come true. Cooked to perfection, a dream realized. We were a party of 6 girls, very different tastes & we all loved loved loved the City Grill, enough that we came back the next night! Great staff, great drinks, comfortable atmosphere, you'll be happy here!!!! Thanks Mario

City Table is a fantastic find in the Lenox Hotel, near Copley Square. The dining space itself is warm and inviting, all dark woods and dim lighting. Although we weren't in the bar, we were close enough to see that it was pretty lively. This is a very easy place to relax into a long dinner, which is exactly what... More

Six girls celebrated my Aunts birthday here this past Saturday night. We had originally planned on going out, but changed our minds, as it was freezing and we were staying at the hotel. Mario was our waiter and he was great. Friendly and fun. I think the hit of the night was the halibut, but the scallops were delicious too.... More

All the staff are so pleasant at his place. It was a very cold Sunday so it was not crowded. Lots of great choices for brunch, which includes salads and breakfast items. I had the oatmeal with fruit which was very good but their bacon is sooooo divine. It is Apple smoked and crispy, which is how I like it.... More

We have visited City Table for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have enjoyed each and every meal. Large variety, selection and portions- friendly service, always greeting you with a smile and remembering your name. Why go anywhere else!

Staying at the Lenox led us to this quaint restaurant. On the first night of our stay we just headed to the bar for drinks and were greeted warmly by the bar tender who made specialty cocktails for us. While we were at the bar the meals served next to us were large and looked beautiful. We ate breakfast the... More

We spent a pleasant hour or so having an appetizer and drinks at the bar, and the service was above and beyond. We'd gotten to chatting with the restaurant's manager, and when we told her where we were having dinner that night, it turned out to be a place that was in the same restaurant group as City Table --... Loved the breakfast. Service, food, nice selection of gluten- free. Far and away better than what you would expect from a hotel restaurant.

Spent last Sat night in Back Bay getting engaged and celebrating. We figured we'd head over to Newbury St. on Sunday for our favorite brunch at Stephanie's but, on the way, dropped in at the Lenox Hotel's City Table just to see...Well, Stephanie's, it's been wonderful but we've found a new favorite! Service was incredibly prompt and friendly. Seating was... More

Very nice and almost "posh" restaurant in the Lenox Hotel. Service was excellent, not too rushed, but quick enough so we could make our show. The plating is a bit pretentious...I mean, why does chowder need to come in a bowl the size of a mixing bowl? But the food was very good and the prices not bad for Boston.
