Very nice and almost "posh" restaurant in the Lenox Hotel. Service was excellent, not too rushed, but quick enough so we could make our show. The plating is a bit pretentious...I mean, why does chowder need to come in a bowl the size of a mixing bowl? But the food was very good and the prices not bad for Boston.

Had breakfast here one morning. My wife got a breakfast sandwich with eggs and cheese and breakfast potatoes for $8. My large orange juice alone was $7! And not even fresh squeezed. Had a toasted croissant that was a step above super market grade. Did not return for brekfast. Came back for a late lunch and had a Margherita pizza... More

very nice place for a romantic dinner or for a dinner with friends...the restaurant is fancy, the service is good and the quality of the food is really high. It's a bit more expensive than the average but I surely recommend it!

We stayed at the lenox, and on our first night, decided to take the path of least resistance and eat at city table. It started promisingly - it was early, our drink and appetizer orders were take promptly. We ordered the house made chips and soft pretzel. Both we're interesting takes on classics and yummy. And then we waited for... More

Beautiful venue in great location offering top atmosphere for Breakfast or. Brunch when we went. Didn't lag nor rush, good chalices for omelette, fruit, egg sandwiches and cereal and griddles. Reasonable given its inside the lovely boutique hotel Lenox. Staff and service team enthusiastic, young and not overboard. A pleasure

Went with a few others and had a good meal. Braised short rib was good as was the tuna steak spring roll. Good service in a modern setting. In the Lennox hotel. Wait staff were knowledgable about menu items.

We routinely done here when we stay at the Lenox. The breakfast options are plentiful. Great buttermilk pancakes but always find myself ordering the smoked salmon. The people who work here are friendly and welcoming. Whether you are lucky enough to stay at the Lenox or not, visit City Table and have that Bloody Mary. You will not regret it.

Our first night there on 10-7-2014, dinner was excellent. They serve house made potato chips as one of their starters. Because I cook fresh fish quite often at home, I rarely order fish but decided on the herb roasted halibut. It was outstanding. Our server, Mario, was attentive and actually brought the chef out to meet our group. We were... More
