Meh

The decor of the restaurant feels dated and dark, with thick, heavy tables. We went to dinner on a hot day and the temperature in the dining room was barely comfortable. On opening the door I knew I had made a good choice to stop at City Table. The visuals in the bar and restaurant were lovely...current, lively yet very sophisticated. The food was delicious. Extensive wine list; well prepared cocktails. I enjoyed a very nice evening experience.

I had a Filet Mignon with shredded brussels sprouts that was fantastic. The kale salad with regular and pickled watermelon was fantastic as well.

We had an excellent breakfast here on a rainy Sunday morning - food was so good and the service was impeccable.

What a find! City Table is connected to the Lenox but a short walk from the Marriott Copley Place. The oysters were superb and the martinis were fantastic. While this was a very close to our hotel, we would consider this as a night out from the suburbs. We will be back.

I had the Steak Frites, which was a skirt steak drowned in steak sauce along with garlicky parmesan truffle fries. The steak was good, but not exceptional. There was way too much steak sauce, although it would have been good in a smaller dose. The fries were tasty but nothing special. For $25 I expected an entrée of a slightly... More

Servers come and go, and yes even good restaurants have bad service from time to time. This was bad, don't misunderstand me, but it is the restaurant manger and the chef that are the target of my review. This is a nice upscale restaurant, that is a little noisier than most. The menu offers many good choices. My wife and... More

This restaurant is located within the upscale Lenox hotel. We came here for a Saturday brunch, so cannot vouch for the dinner menu. But the brunch was nothing special and in some ways disappointing for the price. The portions are large but virtually no one in our party of eight finished their plates because the food was not tasty enough... More
