Good Experience

This place has a cool ambiance. My food was tasty but portions were small. Great bar and drinks. Our waiter was friendly and fast. I usually avoid hotel restaurants but this one was up to par. Would revisit but didn't completely stand out. Enjoy!

Traveling to Boston on business with a colleague, we were en-route to another restaurant, when this place caught our eye. We shared several plates… the sliders, pesto couscous, asparagus and spinach. All were delish and well priced, as appetizers. It was so good, that my next time in town, I visited again and was not disappointed!

We only ate here for breakfast and it was quite delicious. The portions for generous and the food was tasty. The service was attentive and friendly.

It was a very, very rainy Sunday - so, instead of going out for lunch/brunch - we decided to stay at our hotel (The Lenox) and eat at City Table. Victor was a super waiter - the food was delicious and the service great - great cocktails too.

Service was so bad we left before actually ordering. Waited 10 minutes for hostess to acknowledge our existence and then waiter left us 15 minutes with just water.

We had Saturday morning brunch at City Table while staying at the Lenox. The Croissant French Toast with Bananas Foster was amazing, I could have eaten it again the next morning! Other members of our party had the Duck Confit Hash and Eggs any style which good, but not anything spectacular. Despite the restaurant being pretty empty, the service overall... More

Found this place while walking around on a Saturday night. I was looking for a place with a bar to watch the football game and most everything was packed. They have a little something for everyone. There is formal dining with a bar where you can get full meal service. Salmon was very good and the drinks were well done.... More

Amazing atmosphere, crowded loud, loud, for dinner and date nights Be sure to get reservations for late night dinner and/or drinks Our waiter in the morning was young, never refilled coffee nor teapot, but pleasant. Go here for dinner, not breakfast.

I have walked past this restaurant several times, and finally had a reason to stop in for dinner. The food was absolutely amazing. Skirt steak melted in my mouth, hot rolls were great as were the mashed potatoes. Nice ambiance as well.

The overall reviews for this place were good and since it was close to our hotel (Colonnade Hotel), we decided to try this place Jan 2. The breakfast menu is somewhat limited, but has all the classics. Between the four of us, we had: - Cuban sandwich - Duck Hash - Crab Cake benedict - Fruit platter The food was... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
