Pre-race Dinner

We met for dinner here before this year's Boston Marathon and the place was full. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful meal with great service. We thought it would be very noisy with the crowd but it was surprisingly comfortable to carry on a conversation Don't recommend their vodka gimlets though.

We had brunch reservations for Marathon Monday. Admittedly, not our wisest move (seeing as we couldn't get access to Boylston), but the brunch was good, good value. Staff were eager to move us out, though there were a few empty tables. Location is great though.

Everything that we had was amazing. Calamari appetizer with mango salsa. Gnocchi. Scallops (perfectly prepared). A treat for all the senses!

We tried city table because of it's proximity to the Copely Marriott. This restaurant will not disappoint. We enjoyed boat bread, lobster bisque, veggie risotto, slider trio, burger, and steak frites. Every dish was excellent.

Went to the City Table from the Marriott Copley. Looking for a reasonable priced dinner for a business dinner. Enjoyed highly the raw oysters - served nicely chilled, clearly fresh. Ordered a bottle of 2010 Gigondas a steal at $63 a bottle. Nice medium bottle red. Enjoyed fully the Seared Duck Breast (medium rare) it was delicious. The pomegranate sauce... More

It's quite a busy place and the noise level can be rather energetic. Tables are not very far apart, though to be fair there was enough room between tables so as not to be crowded. But you can certainly hear all the neighbouring conversations. Food is pretty decent. Surprisingly, we were more impressed by our starters than our mains. The... More

Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. I had the Eggs Benedict and they were perfect along with mimosas. They have music on weekend evening.

This was the restaurant in our hotel. The food was delicious & the martini seven better. Our server, Matt, took great care of us. The atmosphere is warm & trendy. A++

Where to start. The GF menu had more options than most - it was hard to choose. I eventually decided on a side of roasted brussel sprouts for an app and the short rib with polenta cake and roasted vegetables for dinner - all of which were delicious. My husband, who does not have dietary restrictions, had the taco duo... More
