Good Food, Decent Service

I have been to Masa three times - I have generally been happy with my experience each time. The service is a bit slow but the food (and margaritas) are quite good. It has not been very crowded the few times I have been and so it's a good "backup" option if you are planning to go to one of... read more

When we got to MASA for our Sunday brunch reservation they said that tables of 7 were ineligible for brunch. WHAT? so they made us pay twice the price for half of the food. Even worse, the egg whites were not cooked. Could not eat quite a bit of the food. No manager could be found. First negative review I... More

Stopped in early Sunday afternoon. MASA was bustling and there was a 10-minute wait. Luckily we'd made reservations and a table waited. This is a strong late 20s, early 30s crowd, a hip & moderately loud hangout. Food is South American themed and beautifully presented. Food quality is excellent. Before a tip, four of us paid $70 for everything, including... More

We chatted with the bartender while waiting for our table. She seemed to be happy working at Masa and has many future ambitions. She made our wait very pleasant as she busily waited on others. Our seating was tight but comfortable. Our waitress Molly was also very pleasant and timely. She wasn't overbearing but attentive. The meal was a specific... More

Terrific place for Sunday brunch at a reasonable price. Food was good and the tequila sunrise was a yummy brunch cocktail. Very popular place and we look forward to returning. Enjoy.

I have been here for brunch more times than I can remember and I strongly recommend it. They have a great brunch deal on the weekends, very affordable given the prices you start to see for brunch in that end of the city. The empanadas are amazing and the corn bread they put out while you wait is so good... More

We went here for brunch on a Sunday. Our waitress was super nice and gracious. It was our first time at Masa and will want to return in the future. Our meals were creative and well presented. I must compliment Masa on their bread basket and unique spreads. The price was also very reasonable!

A wide selection of great apps and classic margaritas make this a great after work place or pre-theater stop off. Enjoy.

Masa came up on a google search for "Best Brunch" so we thought what the heck...we got the $8.95 brunch special and it was incredible! We got the caramelized plantain empanada, and it was perfectly sweet and savory...followed by the Southwest Eggs Benedict and the Huevos Rancheros...both deliciously fresh and different...we were pleasantly surprised and would definitely dine here again...also,... Not sure what was going on here. Server and host seemed uninterested. Only one other table had customers the entire time we were there on a Sunday night. Server was unattentive and barely audible. Food was tastey but did not feel welcome here. With so many great restaurants in the South End we will not be returning to Masa. Maybe... More
