Great spanish inspired brunch

We were looking for a Spanish brunch in the south end and we found it. This is a cute Spanish styled restaurant on Tremont. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Although we were a party of two, they gave us a booth which was nice and spacious. The menu is complete with a full breakfast menu... read more

Our daughter took us to brunch at Masa on a Saturday morning. It was crowded and a bit noisy, but the food and service made up for that. I was worried about spices since this restaurant has a southwest theme, and spicey foods don't like me very much. But I was wrong. The food was not heavily spiced and was... More

This place has great tapas deals on Sunday afternoons and tasty drinks. You have to sit in the bar area, but it's usually not too busy at that time and you would have plenty of space.

Let me get right to the point. I have never had such a delicious steak or mojito. Chile Rubbed 8oz Filet Mignon w/Ranchero Tomato Salsa, Grilled Baby Corn, Chile Onion Rings, and Garlic Whipped Potatoes. COCONUT mojito!!! Superb service. A little loud so NOT for groups of more than 4 and too dark for my taste (bring your iPhone flashlight... More

We went for Sunday brunch while staying at the Chandler Inn for the weekend. Masa was clean, modern and the service was fast. The food offered a flavorful twist on some favorite classics and also some new ideas I had never tried. Glad we went!

I ate at Masa a few years ago, and knew I really wanted to come back. My wait was worth it. The pork shoulder was perfectly spiced; duck breast (I tasted my friend's) was nice and moist. The menu choices make it hard to choose... they all looked good, and varied. Our server was friendly and willing to make suggestions... More

Fantastic Brunch spot! If you're looking for a nice place to grab brunch with the family without breaking the bank this is the place to go! Masa is fairly close to the highway with plenty of on street parking nearby. The eggs benedict was awesome, and at 10$ you can't beat it!

Really god Mexican influenced food - not cheap. This is a popular spot, so get reservations. Love their fish taco, and I never thought I would.

Great mexican place! Not tex-med, more updated Mexican fare. Good bar at which to hang out. We were blessed with great weather and ate outside!

Staying in South End

Neighborhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
