Arrived 21 PM. We got a table within 15 min.,but had to wait 30 min. before the starter was served. Antipasta was OK, but not perfect. Saltimbocca and Ziti Pasta was good. Maybe we simply arrived to late and to tied. Try to book a table and get an outside table if the weather is fine.

If you are tired from shopping Newbury Street, stop in for a great meal. The pasta is cooked to perfection and the salads are wonderful. Big enough to share. The service is great too. The restaurant is divided into two small patios. It is tight quarters, but worth it. Looks like it is family run. They should be proud of... More

We were looking for a nice place to have an outdoor dinner. They do not take reservations for the outside section but we went about 5:00 on a Saturday and had no trouble getting a table. There are lovely flowers, nice place settings, and a great view for people watching! The hostess and the waitress were very pleasant. The food... More

Of the many choices in Boston, we recently enjoyed a great meal here at Piattini. The burrata special was fresh, the pastas delicious and the entrees were exceptional. Not to mention, a terrific variety of Italian wines. Right in the Back Bay area on Newbury Street, lined with many restaurants and stores, deciding on one place can be daunting. We... More

Service was attentive and helpful. Their scallops were perfect. Shrimp scampi was flawless. Great place to watch people go by.

I like the concept with smaller portions so you get to try more different Things, since there is a lot to choose from. My husband and I shared five and that was fine for us. I recommend the lobster ravioli...but honestly everything we had was great The wine flights are a good idea so you can try more wines without... More

This place was great. We shared a small plate to start and then had a big bowl of pasta. Good attentive service (if a little slow - but they were extremely busy). My chicken was just a bit overdone in the pasta but good fresh ingredients were used. Overall a very nice meal. I would return.

Wonderful food and wonderful service! The wine flights are the perfect way to taste test three different wines. I went here for my birthday and had a great meal and felt very welcomed by our server, Luisa, as well as other staff who came out and sang me happy birthday. Their chocolate torta is delicious!

Good place for Italian food. Wines by the glass. Friendly place and good service. Not noisy. Not a large menu but an acceptable choice of dishes. Signature wines from the house at a reasonable price.

LOVED this place. The staff was all so nice. From the second I called to make the reservation up to the second that we walked out. Everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious. We went for a tapas style meal. The Piattini Antipasto, the Rack of Lamb, and the Peperone Ripieno. My boyfriend went with the Red Sangria, and I... More
