Great From Start to Finish

The wife wanted to find a convenient Italian restaurant, and we settled on Piattini, but I wouldn't use the word 'settled' after eating there. We went here for a weekday dinner. It was busy but not too busy. Our server was polite and helped us make selections from their menu. There were many things that we wanted to try, and we kept changing our mind. I think we will have to go back and try some of the other appetizers and entrees. We were... More

Outstanding pasta and appetizers, a great wine list, fabulous dessert menu, excellent service, and warm and welcoming environment. What more could you ask for?

Walked through the mounds of snow to this neighborhood spot. Very friendly and attentive waitstaff. Good very good and they are flexible about menu swaps.

Great little Italian find on Newberry Street. Extensive wine list by the glass, conveniently paired with the entrees. Also, tons of small plates if you want to go that way. Highly recommend. Seared scallops over butternut squash and spinach was a standout. Ceasar was a little blah, but still creamy and delicious.

We were visiting Newbury St. with some friends and family a few weeks ago and after we had some cupcakes at Georgetown Cupcakes, we were all starving. We saw this Wine Bar had some great reviews in the TripAdvisor App, so decided to give it a shot. Our Bartender Maria was terrific. We must have tried a total of 5... More

Last month gathered with some friends for lunch while shopping on Newbury Street. As with any Saturday on Newbury Street there are crowds of people shopping and for lunch you just want a relaxing spot- Piattini fits the bill. It is a basement eatery but very bright with clean, modern décor. The menu provided numerous options from paninis, salads and... More

It looks like Italian food but the tastes aren't authentic and the focus seems to be on quick preparation not on nuanced flavors. Sicky sweet marsala, gummy ravioli - cafeteria quality
