Great choice in Newbury for Good Food

Went ther late in the afternoon and very glad we went. The sever was extremely nice , made good suggestions When the food came it was just perfect , it felt like something by a friend. This is an honest food place in the heart of Newbury, where you get good food and good service. I would... read more

My wife and I enjoyed a tasty, creative, reasonably-priced dinner with attentive, cordial service here. Everything was good, but we especially enjoyed the antipasti plate as an appetizer and the lemoncello dessert, which featured frozen lemoncello in the center and was a superb ending to a very pleasant dining experience.

One of the best food on Newbury St in Boston. This was our 2nd visit, went with family and friends. Server Raia was great, the food was awesome. I recommend a reservation on the weekends for sure. They accommodated us (outdoor seating) however unfortunately the weather was a bit chilly, but that they can't do anything about. They actually offered... More

Ate at the bar, server was pleasant, offered honest suggestions and was fast (even working alone behind the bar). I remember ordering the Tierra Brisa malbec wine - very good malbec. Bar got busy about 7 pm, waitress was moving but always checked in . Food was quite good, not great, this is not a great restaurant but real nice... More

Food was average but was disappointed with the service. Waitress was very slow with our request for sharing spoons (had to ask twice) and she got part of our order wrong. Worst of all, she brought us the bill (the wrong bill initially) as soon as we finished our mains without asking if we needed anything else. I even asked... More

Had a lovely early dinner. Pasta bolognese was perfectly done, ravioli excellent. First place I have ever received a glass of wine with its own business card! Came with a card describing the wine's attributes. Overall a great meal!

I happened upon this restaurant while walking down Newberry Street. It was just what I wanted. It's a small Italian/wine bar with a full menu but they also offer a wonderful selection of small plates. It's very attractive inside, the staff is very pleasant and efficient, and I loved the menu and food. I was there for lunch and had... More

We love italian food and we also love small plates tapas style. Piattini offers both. I fell in love with their lobster ravioli and fruita di mare with fresh, large mussels! I only wish they had a restaurant in CA.

Ate here on the last day of our holiday ... wish I had visited earlier. Had a light lunch - really good food and a very pleasant atmosphere. Next time I am in town I look forward to an evening meal.
