Lovely patio

Piattini is one of those Newbury Street restaurants that I'd routinely walk past and skip in the past. It looks perfectly pleasant with a cute patio, but as a local I used to get my Italian food on in the North End. As a tourist not really interested in making a second trip to the North End from... read more

Lots of small plates, so good for sharing, with choices for vegetarians, as well as main courses. Lovely wine list. We sat on the patio and watched the crowd on the street. Sit on the patio if possible in good weather. Our waitress was lovely, charming and attentive. Think this restaurant has more charm than many others on the street.

Sit outside! Worth the wait. Food was very good. Staff very accommodating for picky eaters. Great atmosphere on Newbury Street.

This is on Newbury, a street of brownstone row houses with the basements pretty much all turned into restaurants. It is a delightful street for choosing your cuisine. The food is Italian but small plate service. They do have regular size dishes too. The food is very good. Ingredients are fresh and nicely prepared. Wine list is good. The house... More

I took a group of customers here for dinner. During the meal an issue arose around the wine we had had and a person called Elise came to sort it out. I can honestly say in all the years of international travel I have never met anyone so determinedly unhelpful, rude and unpleasant. There was absolutely no hint of 'I'd... More

Had dinner at this restaurant and it went south right from the beginning. After the initial attendant blurb about specials it was a struggle. Promised bread took two tries. Almost felt like "this table is not drinking wine...next" the appetizer was not appetizing and was overpriced like the whole menu. The entrees arrived and were left with no offer of... More

Unfortunately, the noise level and poor service took away from how delicious the food was. IF I ever go back I would sit outside. Inside we couldn't talk due to how loud it was. Server was horrible, but good food.

My wife and I enjoyed a tasty, creative, reasonably-priced dinner with attentive, cordial service here. Everything was good, but we especially enjoyed the antipasti plate as an appetizer and the lemoncello dessert, which featured frozen lemoncello in the center and was a superb ending to a very pleasant dining experience.

Went ther late in the afternoon and very glad we went. The sever was extremely nice , made good suggestions When the food came it was just perfect , it felt like something by a friend. This is an honest food place in the heart of Newbury, where you get good food and good service. I would recommend this place... More

One of the best food on Newbury St in Boston. This was our 2nd visit, went with family and friends. Server Raia was great, the food was awesome. I recommend a reservation on the weekends for sure. They accommodated us (outdoor seating) however unfortunately the weather was a bit chilly, but that they can't do anything about. They actually offered... More
