Light dinner

We got a pitcher of Sangría and a handful of tapas. Everything was very flavorful but quite salty. It was friendly and the outdoor seating was crowded (not surprising because we were there on a Friday night). It's a good place to go if you aren't too hungry and it's fun because everyone in your... read more

For our last dinner during a regrettably abbreviated visit to Boston, I chose to get a reservation at Tapeo. It is right in the heart of the Back Bay, and thus not far from our hotel, the Back Bay Hilton. We were seated outside, a nice cool breezy evening and a festive but not loud and crazed atmosphere. We ordered... More

Ate there years ago. It was fine. Good service, nice venue, good food, good price point. Didn't go back until recently because it was just good. Lots of places are. Went last night. Service is still good, even excellent. Nice ambience, decent prices. Food has become superb. Went back again tonight. If anything, food was even better because Sunday night... More

Situated in the prime shopping street. Busy and noisy restaurant, whereby you can hardly hear yourself. The food make up for the ambient. The tapas was excellent, especially the slightly spicy lobster/crab ravioli. The Oceano paella is good but the Pollo y Chorizo paella with Chicken Thighs, Pork Sausage, Chorizo and Garbanzos is heavenly.

My husband is from Spain and we try to grab some tapas every time we're on the area. The tapas are pretty good and my husband is a really good cook so we have real authentic Spanish food at home! But we've always been happy with the food and service. The restaurant inside is beautiful and the staff has always... More

We had 7 dishes between 3 of us, which I had thought might be a tiny bit light, but we ended up feeling we'd eaten just the rights amount. The Brazilian cheese bread was the only dish i wouldn't recommend - the other 6 were all good. especially the gambas al ajillo, (which luckily we knew meant shrimp) the chicken... More

We tried the scallops, lamb balls, mushrooms, figs, artichoke crostini, with wine and sangria. the sangria was dry and not fruity but some people might like that. alll the others were very good. scallops were in a cream sauce which i would not prefer but some people might. service was great. we ordered in waves and it came as we... I went with my daughter for some sapanish tapas and we order rice with habas, we got rice with kidney beans, i also ordered gambas al ajillo and we got shrimp al ajillo. The flavor was great but the menu doesn't have the right information.

That was the first time for me. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. Tapas were very good. Great selection of food!
