Disappointed

My girlfriend and I go to Boston four or five times a year to shop. We both love oysters so Abe and Louie's has always been our place to stop. Yesterday we stopped to have a glass of wine and some oysters. To our surprise the oysters were spoiled. I could believe the taste. The bartender took... read more

As the title suggest the dinner rolls were amazing. Maybe becuase we'd been drinking a bit but I dint think so. Buttered and then salted, who does that? Abe and Louie's does. Moving on from the rolls, we were here for a pre wedding dinner with the guys. We heard the burgers we good here which is why we stopped... More

I think Abe and Louis has lost a step from where they used to be. My friend ordered the Louis Salad. In the past it was a huge wedge, this time it was smaller. My friend had the 10 ounce steak and he said it was OK. My other friend had a fish dish which he stated tasted fishy. The... More

Everything was amazing! From the food to the ambiance, I would recommend to everyone! Came on Valentine's Day and service was great. Our waiter suggested our wine which was inexpensive and so yummy. Would recommend booking ahead of time online or on an app to avoid waiting.

Lovely lunch. Hard to choose between brunch and lunch but soup, salad, and a glass of wine were just perfect on a cold blustery Valentine's Day. Thank you Jeff for just the right service - attentive but not cloying.

I have to give this place 5 stars for all the great birthday accommodating they did for me. They really know how to make a birthday special. The food was great and would definitely order the same ribs and steaks. I will be coming back.

This restaurant is about much more than a good steak, although it does that very well indeed. The menu is varied with excellent appetizers, small meals in themselves. We like to eat at the bar upstairs where the drinks are ample and the service first rate. It's not cheap, but it is certainly good value for the money. Try it,... More

Went there with a big group in the room under the main restaurant. I guess its not easy to take care of a big group but the service was ok and the food was average. To give them some credit, I have heard that the main restaurant is excellent. I have not been yet but will give it a try... More
