Fantastic restaurant!!!

This is a fantastic restaurant located in a great area. It was within walking distance from our hotel (Fairmont Copley). The atmosphere is great, the wait staff are super great and the food is amazing!! I had the Lobster Savannah for my main meal and it was very, very tasty. The portion was quite... read more

Played it loose without reservation on lovely summer night. Was seated at a roomy table so we could sit side by side and shared a rib eye which was perfectly cooked but a little over salted ( many great restaurants do this for some odd reason). Nicely steamed broccoli and piping hot fries. How one person could eat this astounds... More

I wanted to try everything. A visit just for desserts is definitely on my list. One of the best in Boston.

I had a dinner with my wife. Since we sometimes visit the fine steakhouses in Manhattan, we discussed the comparisons of the fine or aged beefs between Boston and Manhattan. We ordered New York Strip of Sirloin steak and Filet Mignon in this steakhouse. The prices of the beefs here was lower than those in Manhattan by 10%, however, the... More

Have been coming here for years when visiting Boston so so so disappointed this last visit. Thursday. Food was really off. Steaks overlooked. Salads lacked taste. Sides blah. Desserts less grand. Sever tried to string it together (actually had him before and he was grt). A real bummah. Even my kids who named as a favorite from a previous visit... More

Visiting from the UK and staying in Back Bay we dined at Abe and Louie's on the evening of 21 June. This is a fairly expensive restaurant with generally wealthy local clientele evidenced by the cars pulling up outside and being driven away by a valet service. There was a good choice on the menu - the ambience very pleasant.... More

As usual, never a bad meal or time. Staff was friendly and helpful and dinner recommendations were spot on. Enjoyed tomato/blue cheese/onion salad to start and for main course the bone in New York strip with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. A+ all the way!!! See you again soon.

We were a party of four without a reservation. It was a Wednesday night around 6PM and the place was packed. We put our name down and happened to get a few seats at the bar. Cool place, stiff drink and the bar was nice. 30 minutes went by and we had a table. The tables are traditional steakhouse and... More

Sat next to a couple that were from same city as we're from... Had excellent meal, and steak was cooked perfectly... Enjoyed all aspects of the meal for taste to presentation and tempo... If in Boston again, I'll be sure to return...
