Awesome steaks!

Been to the Abe & Louie's with some colleagues recently. We got a nich table in the back for our party of 10 people. Service was nice and friendly. After a long study of the menu I went for my favourite cut - Bone-In Prime Aged Rib-Eye. I got a 24oz peace of awesome meat, grilled perfectly to the... read more

Went for a business dinner and the service and food were simply amazing. I've been before and found it ok. But my dinner this time really blew me away.

I enjoyed a recent business lunch at Abe & Louis, where the salmon was well prepared. I was disappointed they offered no hard ciders on my visit.

We had the bone in filet! It was stupendous. We enjoyed every bite. The house salad and desserts were just as amazing. Cocktails are inventive and tasty as well!

Had late brunch here. Ordered the "Boylston breakfast" (3 eggs choice of meat and toast). Dish came with breakfast potatoes as well. Eggs were done as ordered and meat was tasty. The ladies ordered the cheeseburger and they really liked it. Our other friend had the eggs Benedict and he was pleased with it. Reasonably priced for Boson.

Love to go to A&L for brunch. Excellent service and food is generally fantastic. One of my dining companions didn't feel well after eating some scallops there awhile back.

We love to eat at Abe & Louie's when we travel to Boston. We like the atmosphere and especially the people eating and enjoying themselves. The steaks are mouthwatering and the side are good too. We split a lettuce wedge with blue cheese. My wife had the salmon which was delicious. I had a filet mignon which was cooked perfectly.... More

Had a table reserved for 6.30 Saturday night sat down at about 7. Place was jammed. Maitre D came by a few times to assure us he was sorry. Finally sat and he bought over fresh bacon app. It was perfect. We all got steak and shared a few sides. Must say food was the best and the service impeccable.... More

OK, it's not cheap, but the prices are fair for the quality of food you get in this establishment. As we sat down the attentive waiter brought us out a freshly cooked brioche topped with salt and butter - a great setup to the rest of the meal. We decided to skip starters and went straight for a main course.... More

In June, while staying in the Back Bay area on business, my colleague and I decided to REALLY treat ourselves. She ordered a steak and side of spinach with mushrooms. I ordered the Lobster Savannah. It was easily 1.5 lbs, with the claw meat and tail removed and chunked and arranged in the shell with a lovely sherry cream sauce... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
