Must visit restaurant

Abe and Louie's is a must visit restaurant when in Boston. The whole dining experience couldn't have been better. My Lobster Savannah was a particular highlight, as were the brilliant pre-dinner cocktails. The staff are clearly very busy, but that doesn't impact their service or your meal. We ended... read more

Great service even better steak. This place is old school classic super steak but the sides are even better. Great wine list.

As a big fan of American steakhouses,I was looking forward to returning to Abe & Louie's on a recent visit to Boston,It was as ever very good with the food and service being top class. My only disappointment was the lack of yellow mustard. Why does an American steakhouse only have French mustard?

A great restaurant in a great location with ambience, great food and matching service. Yes, it's a high end restaurant, but worth a visit followed by another visit as it's actually worth it. Next door Atlantic Seafood Company you can skip. They just can't get the food on the table before its cold and management just don't care about it.... More

Located in the heart of Boylston street, nice wine list, fantastic oysters and crab cakes. The staff is attentive and very professional.

My husband and I go here on our anniversary each year (as it's where we went after eloping). The staff is already friendly, knowledgeable, and even occasionally will wish us a happy anniversary. I love a good filet and they prepare it to perfection. You can't go wrong with any of the sides. And, as a bonus, if you go... More

Always eat at here when we visit our son. Great drinks, food, and service. It is expensive but you know what they say you get what you pay for. We are always very pleased after our dinner.

Well known across Boston for being a top steak restaurant, visiting Abe and Louis never dissapoints. The quality of the steaks is excpetional and the accompanyments are top notch also. The fillet with blue cheese sauce is hard to beat. Wonderful place to dine

Like the atmosphere of the restaurant. Service was good. I originally intended to try the Boston dine-out menu but turned out that they offer this lunch menu only Monday to Friday. I ordered soup of the day, which is black bean with shredded beef, was a very good soup to start with. I also had the egg white frittata from... More

A really warm place to have a steak. I had the ribeye which was really tasty, with aspargus and bearnaise. The service was friendly. Would go back there even if the prices are a bit high.
