The decor is beautiful and the whole atmosphere is quite posh...Waiters were very curtious. OUr waiter noticed I was drinking from a broken glass, and was in hurry to change it for me. The steaks were wonderful. I had delmonico, my spouse had a rib eye. both were very very good. side orders- cream spinach delicious, house done fries- do... More

We took a brief journey away from our regular special occasion chain (Capital Grille) and discovered that there is a comparable place we can go for a stellar wine list and quality beef. The receptionist found our ideal table and our server Heather was simply perfect. Appropriate attention without being cloying. Water glasses were filled, plates were removed, all our... More

This was place was so good. Starting with the bread, the the salad, baked sweet potato and 1 of the top 5 steaks i have eaten. I had the 24oz bone- in- ribeye. It was wonderful.

This was my second time dining at Abe & Louie's based on an amazing experience one year earlier. The restaurant is located on the beautiful and lively Boylston Street and has become a staple whenever I visit the area Boston. Upon entering the restaurant you'll notice a warm, casual, and almost vintage feel based on the intimately dim lighting, scent... More

Trendy place. Very friedly and excellent waiter, enormous portions, good cuisine, unsalted hollandaise sauce. We had a very good time.

Visited here for our 40 th birthday , after a recommendation from a family member . Really disappointed , waiter really aloof and unfriendly (until check came ) Food ok but nothing amazing , extremely expensive (fine dining prices but not in looks or quality of meat ) overall very overrated and wouldn't return .

We were told the steak in this place was one of the best in town. It was very pleasant steak. Extra fries cost $8 dollars which tops even gordon Ramsay prices. The waiter was not welcoming at all. Gushed over certain well to do local couples but we were two tourists and felt like an inconvenience to him. A real... More

I was taken here on my first night in boston. Our party of eight were seated in the window, white table clothes , silver cutlery and top waiters in cream jackets. Wonderful old wood furniture and panelling, gallery of pictures and the place buzzes with chatter, plates and service. I could have chosen anything on the menu and changed my... More

The appetizers and salads were great and my bone-in ribeye didn't disappoint. Service was very attentive and the bartender made great cocktails.

The steaks here were superb, some of the best I have had, the sides were also exceptional quality especially the macaroni cheese. Only critism was the fries were undercooked. This place is well worth a visit if you want a steak with its buzzy classy atmosphere and good service but it doesn't come cheap.
