We ate here while at a convention in Boston and it was very enjoyable. We did make reservations so there was no wait when we arrived. The service was attentive without being overbearing. We were seated upstairs and the tables were fairly close together, but all the patrons were respectful so the proximity of others didn't seem intrusive. The food... More

Have never been here for dinner but have been twice before, once for lunch and once for brunch. Both were good but the brunch was amazing!

Bland food, everything was extra. Ordered rare filet mignon came medium with a foul thin peppercorn sauce. Very unenjoyable experience, asked the waiter if they had a house wine, he gave me a look as if to say get back under your stone!!! Average wine prices over €100 a bottle for the cheap stuff. Will not recommend or go back

I had lunch at Abe and Louie's. They have excellent service and the food is very good, but not the best I've had. The clam chowder was very good compared to other restaurants and the fresh lobster salad pretty decent, although I felt the mixed greens were just dumped on the plate with minimal dressing. The lobster itself was great.... More

Love this place! Food is excellent. Has that old, steak house feeling to it - dark wood, leather furniture, nice lighting, fairly small. Great place for a couple or a small group (probably no more than 8)

The wait was about 3 hours for a table, so we decided to eat at the bar. Unfortunately the bar was packed, only 1 seat. But the bartender, Sonny, took control and was able to seat us - - actually two patrons moved over and were nice about it. I had the steak and it was fabulous, it was cooked... More

It's difficult to have steaks in US cities without comparing them but Abe and Louies was really good, steaks to perfection and great portions in their sides and really nice wine to compliment. A place I would happily recomend.

I have been here many many times and always tell clients it's one of the only places that will sell you a twenty dollar steak for fifty dollars and make you happy you bought it. The food is always great and the service top notch. Many of the staff have been here for many many years. I used to live... More

This is one of the best steaks in Boston. I was here with a few friends after a meeting. I recommend splitting some apps and sides family style and getting you're own main dish. The Mac and cheese is delicious as well as their bacon plate.

Had steak mignon and it was so tender it fell off my fork.sides were big enough for 2 people. Our waiter was very professional, knew what he was talking about and gave some great recommendations.5 star in my opinion!
