We ate in Flemings on Thursday evening with friends and it was fabulous, great food, service and drink. Our friends had suggested the place as there is a Flemings restaurant close to where they live and they highly recommend it, we definitely agree with this recommendation. After getting ourselves confused we ordered king crab which is an entrée as a... More

Steak houses need to be great. Why? Because the food is pretty straight forward, pricing is crazy high... and there are so many... you need to stand out. Good is just not good enough to warrant the high prices. Flemings just doesn't stand out. I've had better meals here in the past... wonder what's going on here. The best things... More

Although the price is a bit hefty, the food was unbelievable! The meat tender; the Porcini sauce, to die for; the Chocolate Lava Cake which you order ahead, was decadent! Disappointingly we were seated beside the kitchen -- it was very loud and very dark in the corner. Nevertheless, the attentiveness of the waiter and the quality of the food... More

We went to Flemings before seeing a show at wang's theatre. This was to be our romantic date night. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and then shown to a small table in a crowded section of a fairly empty restaurant. After asking to be moved the waiter quickly attended to us. Food was delivered quickly and was overall... More

We chose Flemings for our special family holiday treat. The evening did not start out well when the maître d' placed us in the table in the far reaches of a side room, immediately next to a private room in which a private party was being held that blared disco music. Given that the restaurant was relatively empty, it's puzzling... More

Walkin party of two on Friday evening...no problem and with a smile too. Promptly seated and attended to by our server and his assistants. Drinks were great! The baked Brie appetizer was 4.5/5! The mains and side dishes were excellent with wonderful flavors. My dinner partner was vegetarian and the server picked up on that right away. He went beyond... More

I will start with the pro because that's where my story should end. We arrived at 6:00 for our reservation and were seated immediately. Our drink order was taken pretty promptly. Before I dined here, I had young eyes with near perfect vision. However, after straining my eyes in the dark to see the menu, I suspect that no longer... More

Fleming's Steakhouse is conveniently located just a short walk (2 blocks) from the Theater District. We sat in a room off the bar, so the noise level was pleasantly low, which enabled our party to have good conversation. The bar seating area was much more "energetic". The food was good, tasty, and what one would expect at a "Down-town" steakhouse.... More

I was skeptical hearing about the barbecued Scottish salmon – barbecue is usually bold; salmon is subtle. But it was absolutely wonderful. They told me it was freshly flown in. My colleagues all had steaks. But to me, the side dishes we ordered really turned the meal into something special beyond a good steak or seafood dish. The macaroni and... More

Nicely decked out, dark wood and dimly lit giving a nice steakhouse feel. Some positives some negatives, - don't want to come across as fussy, these are just little things that hopefully the restaurant would embrace and improve! Off to a 'curious' start when the front desk staff kept us waiting to check and 'see if our table was ready',... More
