Another great meal

Great small plate Italian with a solid wine list and creative cocktails. We go each time we go into Boston for a show as it is walking distance to most theaters/venues. Reservations recommended - it is always pretty busy.

I've been to Teatro twice with different family groups, and each time our overall experience was outstanding. The service is attentive and friendly. The dining room is an attractive space with a lively atmosphere. "Lively" is a bit noisy, so this is probably not your spot for a quiet romantic dinner. Outstanding food: we tried several of the homemade pastas,... More

Our group of 4 had dinner on Saturday night before a show at the Colonial. The location was extremely convenient and the staff was very aware of our time restrictions. We started with the meatballs, calamari and octopus and all were really good. The meatballs were the best and with only 3 per serving we definitely should have ordered a... More

Teatro is one of those restaurants that couldn't be better located if your interested in theatre, concerts and similar events. We had tickets of "Libera" playing in the Wilbur Theatre and wanted a place reasonable close as we would not have put time between dinner and the concert. Teatro could not be more fitting. Only a few numbers down from... More

Walked in with no reservation on a Sunday night and it was a short distance from our hotel. Service was above average and the food was very good. I had the beet salad with goat cheese and orange which was outstanding. They offer two sizes on the pasta and I had the larger size which was not huge but perfect... More

Wasn't looking for Italian in Boston but let hubby pick. Good choice Arrived early. Had drinks. Seated promptly. The place had cleared out so wee were able to choose our table. We were happy. Ordered the antipasto appetizer. What. Good coice. One of the best I've had. Hubby got a small order of a pasta dish & helped me with... More

The food was pretty good, but the portions were laughably small and the price tag was quite high. I probably wouldn't go there again.

I enjoyed a nice meal last night with 3 other couples. This is a solid option near a show or off the commons. The service was fine, hard to hear wait staff since the kitchen is open and overall restaurant was loud. Lobster pasta was very good and the scallops were a wonderful presentation. Definitely enjoy a few half orders... More

The food was delicious, which we expected from Teatro's reputation. The pleasant surprise was the fabulous service. Bernardo took care of us, and he perfectly balanced attending to our wants and giving us time to ourselves. He hit a home run with his wine suggestion. And he correctly assured us that the house made gelato should not be missed.

We ate at this property over Super Bowl weekend. Entering from being out on one of the coldest evenings of the winter, the warm atmosphere and friendly greetings were welcomed. I am a new convert to the delight of carpaccio and this plate here only reinforces my cravings. The beef is exquisitely sliced with shaved parmesean on top.The special of shrimp... More
