Teatro is a modern Italian restaurant with great food. It is located in a closed old Synagogue building with high ceilings and ornate ceiling. The appetizer plates are small, but very tasty. Pasta dished are available at 1/2 and full size. Food was more than enough for me. The heirloom tomato salad with fresh mozzarella, thinly sliced cucumbers with a... More

We ate here as it was very near our hotel and I had seen good reviews on TA. From the outside the restaurant does not look particularly inviting but it is really gorgeous inside and has a great atmosphere. We had a very nice waiter, very helpful and patient, answering all our queries and checking exactly how my son wanted... More

Wonderful food in a former Synagogue across from Boston Commons in the heart of historic center. Cannot go wrong with this Italian/Spanish them restaurant in a great setting. A must stop on my next visit.

We stopped at bar on way to a concert and shared some plates. I especially enjoyed the mussels in Crema Chardonnay, smoked tomato and red pepper flakes. The calamari and octupus apps were also delicious. There was an heirloom tomato, cucumber and mozzarella dish that somewhat disappointed because the cheese was skimpy and not as fresh as it could have... More

This was an amazing meal & I am still dreaming about it! Started the meal with the calamari- the batter was perfection as well as the dipping sauces! The beet & whipped goat cheese salad was splendid and the scallop main dish was the best scallops I have ever had! Service was great & the decor was nice. I would... More

We have had consistently good meals here over the years. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and efficient, and the pricing is reasonable. The location is great for early theater meals as well as any other downtown activity. The interior decor is also worth noting. Wonderful bar lighting and main eating area design.

We recently dined here with a group of 9 and the food/service were excellent. The ambiance is beautiful (love the uplit ceilings!), somewhat trendy, and the vibe was very cool. I ordered the special (a flatbread pizza) and my husband had the pork chop. All of it was absolutely delicious, as were the drinks (very good wine selection as well).... More

We stayed at the Revere Hotel and this was very close. Great atmosphere, lots of noise and good food. Would be great for a party of friends to celebrate but we were only a couple and still had a great night.
