from the Mistral, Mooo, Sorellina group another great choice. In fact, with the exception of Ostra, these are our favorite group of restaurants in Boston. Teatro is different; younger, hipper, less expensive Italian alternative to pricey but fabulous Sorellina. Same great service, fabulous and generous cocktails, and delicious food. We had the arugula salad with lemon ail dressing and fresh... More

Our best Christmas Eve. The carpaccio and real italian pizza just perfect. The best of the night was drinks Mojito and Caipirinha made by Sebastian.

We had theatre events scheduled on one day - a matinee and an evening performance. So we looked for a restaurant in the vicinity and found Teatro. We did have a reservation, which I would recommend. It was noisy and crowded - full of theatre goers. The service was fabulous. We got seated, waited on and served quickly, esp. given... More

I made a reservation for a party of eight on a Sunday after the theater. They open up at 4pm and not any earlier. We were seated near door and hostess station unfortunately. The waitress was very accommodating with the three kids we brought with a nut allergy and celiac disease. The half portions of pasta were great for smaller... More

Wow....what a great experience. It is not just hyperbole but my wife had the best Cosmos (from Danny) she has EVER had, the special was Veal Saltimboca, maybe my best meal ever. Truffle fries to die for and everything on the tables around us looked amazing. The service EXCELLENT, Bernado was great, there when we needed him, but he let... More

On Friday December 19th we ate here after making a reservation (recommended). The place was packed, with every seat taken. Yet, the noise was quite low, and the service and food were terrific. The one special was veal saltimboca with Marsala wine sauce. I love saltimboca but not Marsala sauce. So, I asked my waiter if I could have it... More

We went with a good sized group and had a fantastic meal. The pork shank is to die for as is the eggplant rolatini. Teatro is great!

Excellent Italian food, good service and charming casually elegant atmosphere conveniently located near the theater district in Boston. There is public parking available but Teatro is easy to access using public transportation using the Red or Green lines. We had an early reservation to give us enough time to get to the theater. Our meal was unhurried but efficient and... More

We were just after a light dinner so ordered 2 small pasta plates. The food was fantastic, appreciated the focus on quality not quantity! and the service was top notch - the waiter was particularly friendly and easy going. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return if I go back to Boston.

This Italian restaurant in the Theater District was quite the find for me! I made reservations there because it was close to the Opera House where I was going to see Swan Lake, so location was my primary concern. I feel like I have stumbled on hidden treasure by finding Teatro (although judging by the crowd, lots of people have... More
