Our go-to choice for pre-show dining in theater district

Always friendly and accommodating, the staff keeps us on track to hit the curtain call at local theater. Most of which are in close proximity. Teatro was a disappointment. The service, the wine recommendations from our server, and convenience to theatre were the positives. The quality of the food was not good. My kale salad was overpriced at $12 for a few pieces of kale from a package and a few spring green leaves topped with fresh shaved parmesan on top (that was the best... More

My husband and I came to Teatro for a pre-theater dinner and it was exactly what we wanted! The service was excellent- our server, Wilson, was prompt, with good suggestions, and a smile. Try the Parmesan truffle fries..yum! We each had a small order of pasta, which, when paired with a salad, was plenty. The tortelloni with Burrata cheese was... More

We have dined here many times over the years and have not been disappointed. Tonight was exceptionally perfect from the moment we walked in. Nick, the manager and host, graciously seated us at a wonderful corner booth. He checked in on us during the evening to see if we were enjoying our time. Our server, Nick - not the same... More

We love the food here and the room is beautiful. They know how to cook delicious Italian food and the service is friendly (and quick if you are rushing to a show). The room is beautifully lit so it feels like a very special place. Its a bit noisy but we still go for romantic dinners as well as nights... More

The food was great. The ravioli and mussels were by far my favorite. Our server was friendly and ver attentive. She answered all our questions and helped us select a wine that would go well with dinner. The interior is very well done.

Teatro has been on my list of restaurants to visit for a long time, but it's always hard to get a reservation before a show - I usually try at Christmas, which is a busy show time. Went to a show this summer, so the area was not as busy. Was able to reserve a table for 4 the same... More

The restaurant has a very unique atmosphere. It is 12 years old and occupies what was once a synagogue. The ceiling displays some very interesting architecture with pleasant blue lighting. During a recent trip to Boston, we dined twice at this restaurant in four days. On our first visit , we had beet salad and Cesar salad, both of which... More

Ate here before heading to the theater, and we had less than an hour. The waitress told the chef we needed to make a show. We ordered delicious pasta that was at our table within 5 minutes. Returned for sumptuous dessert after the theater!

Has a great location on Tremont near the theatres. On this Friday evening was filling up fast at 6.30 pm. Had a pasta appetizer which was good and then the scallop entree which was pretty on the plate but oversalted. My companions arugula salad had nice fresh greens but was also over dressed which is a pity. Not inexpensive for... More
