Very good quality well cooked food with great service and ambience. Would be good for a special occasion but despite our casual attire after a day's sightseeing in Boston the staff made us very welcome.

One of the best aged steaks I have ever had. The service was excellent. I will go back anytime I am in Boston.

A local friend of ours recommended this steakhouse. The service and atmosphere were highlights. The food was as very good as expected for this price point - about the only disappointment was getting hot fudge that was cold.

We brought some out of town guests here rather than a chain steakhouse. The service was great as was the food. Make a reservation to ensure a table.

We went as a group of six for an early birthday celebration. Everyone thought that the food was excellent. Although the side dishes were just average - but then it is really about the steaks - and they certainly do these perfectly. The atmosphere is good but very similar to most steak houses.

Was lucky enough to get invited to Grill 23 for dinner a few days ago. The ambiance and presence of the waiting staff immediately puts one at ease. The service and attention throughout the meal was exemplary and the food itself of a very high standard. Knowing that the restaurant specializes in it's steaks I went the whole way, starting... More

We have been to a lot of very good steakhouses around the country, and Grill 23 measures up to the best of them. My wife had the filet, I had the ribeye -- both were perfectly cooked and had great flavor. Sides were also well-done and plentiful. The service was prompt and attentive. One note of caution. We made a... More

I used to eat in this restaurant 14 years ago , I had beautiful memories with my family in it . It was one of the best in boston that time . Yesterday I was invited there for dinner . The restaurant interior is just the same , service was friendly but if you don't call them no one will... More

This is a formal restaurant located in a upmarket area of Boston city centre. The service is old-style formality. Most of the clientele appears to be businessmen on expense accounts. I wanted to try its 100 day aged rib eye. However, it only came in an 18oz portion and I was dining solo, so it was not possible! It is... More

The food was good but not great. The food at the Capital Grill is much better. Our meal was very expensive - $200 for two people. The bread basket contained tasteless bread that was a little stale. The service was excellent, though. There is a big staircase which goes to the second floor and that is where we were seated.... More
