My foodie friend Malcolm booked Grill 23 & Bar for a goodbye dinner for my boyfriend and our friends. We went on a Saturday night with a reservation. The bar was packed. The sauvignon blanc was excellent and generously portioned. We sat upstairs and were taken care of by Brad, the sommelier who brought us two red wines to try... More

Large venue, trendy atmosphere, traditional steakhouse menu. Waitstaff top notch - clearly experienced. Varied wine selection and fantastic cuts of steak. Worth the price tag as you will get a full dining experience.

Food is great, location perfect (I stayed at the hotel across), nothing to complain. I liked the thin french fries (although too much for one person)

Have eaten here a few times and it's just a great dining experience. Staff are fun and friendly, menu is great. One of my co-diners had specific dining requirements which was no problem for our server / the kitchen. The restaurant was nice and buzzy even for a Monday. Will definitely be back !

We went to dinner on a Saturday night, early, but had reservations. Great table with a view of the entire restaurant and all the waitstaff bustling about. Nicely decorated with vibrant artwork displayed on the walls and lamps here and there. Got the filet done perfectly for medium well. Sides are extremely generous, between the two of us we had... We came here on a trip to Boston to celebrate my husbands 32nd birthday after reading great reviews on local websites & guides.. Initial drink service was quite slow but our food waiter was great . We order an appetiser each and steaks with some sides that were all very good. We had wine too which again was lovely. Couldn't... More

Great Food Service was just ok, no connection. Sommelier was very good. Washrooms are a hike. Odd Decor. Nice Steakhouse Vibe.

We had a very nice dinner here. Caesar salad and tuna tartare as appetizers; two steaks for the main course. A drink for each and then a glass of wine. The steak was very good; not outstanding. The service was accommodating and efficient. Does all this justify $270? Not for me. At least not on my own wallet!

I have been to most steakhouses in Boston and needed to "test " this one out. As they say in football after further review I declare the Grill an okay experience. The service was slow and the meat and sides pretty much average. For the price it should of been better.
