These guys know how to do the business clients and serve wine. Service is better than the food and they sit you upstairs if you are not a regular. Food is solid but nothing really special

We went here for a rehearsal dinner. There was a cocktail hour at the bar upstairs, followed by a 4 course meal in a private dining area. The food was outstanding and the service was wonderful. There were about 100 people there and the waiters were on top of everything--making sure we had enough to drink. Dinner was four courses... More

Friend suggested this place and I went ahead after seeing the good trip advisor reviews. Both were right on. All 4 in my party enjoyed the dinner. Food was good, atmosphere good, service good. Wine selection very good. I would certainly go back.

Loved this place; steak was excellent and so was the service. Delciious steak paired with a great bottle of wine in classic setting.

This was my first visit; my guest had repeated this restaurant many times. The building apparently was the old Bigelow Tea headquarters and still retains a lot of the architectural details, plaster carvings, and soaring marble columns. There are two dining areas, plus a newly-renovated bar which managed to capture both a modern look and its early 20th Century old-world... More

first evening in boston met some folks here. I really wanted seafood, and went with the catch of the day. Very good, but the other people all had steaks and raved about them. Made me wish I could reorder. Loud and fun spot, good wine list.

This is a superb restaurant in downtown Boston which was (deservedly) highly rated by the concierge at our hotel. The staff are superbly trained and highly attentive without being intrusive. Lori was our server and is helpful and gracious--truly exceptional! The menu is mostly meats and very fresh seafood which is masterfully prepared and presented. Although pricey, this is one... More

This has to be the best "floor show" I have experienced. Just watching this restaurant staff at work was mind blowing. The food was fabulous and I understand that they just received an award for the dinning experience so congrats.

They have excellent steaks and quite good selection of drinks. The only thing that was substandard was baked potato which I took as a side - it was dry and dull in taste.

The steaks are great:Ihad the twin filet mignon, it came perfectly grilled, with caramelized onions. I also ordered the tots , a kind of fried potatoes with some spicy ingredient, it was amazing. However, it was all ruined when they screwed up the check an dcharged my credit card for someone elses's bill, almost double mine! Iwas not happy at... More
