We had heard great things about Grill 23 so we decided to go there for our anniversary. We were seated in the bar area near a family with 3 loud children and people all wearing bruins gear. Based on first impressions alone, I was not impressed. Hubby ordered the cap steak cooked medium rare and I ordered the filet mignon... More

A tremendous dining experience. The steak frites and beef tenderloin were superb. The service was impeccable. Yes, it is a bit noisy, but it's a really positive city energy.

We were a party of 5 and were extremely well looked after by our waiter. Spoiled for choice by the very enticing sounding steaks my neighbour and I did a deal. i had the ribeye on the bone, and he had the 100 day aged ribeye, and we did a bit of a swap. Mine was very tasty indeed, and... More

We like the bar on the second floor. It's friendly and when you come by yourself, chat up the bartenders or watch TV. This is a steakhouse. We eat small. I have my own burrata which they describe as crispy eggplant with stewed tomatoes. The bartender calls it "our version of eggplant Parmesan." Which you could say it is except... More

We'd read great reviews on this restaurant on both Trip Advisor and Zagats, but I think we were ultimately disappointed in the overall experience. Don't get me wrong - the service here is great and the food is really good, but it's a BIG restaurant on two levels and with that comes a very BIG noise level that makes it... More

While, I admit I was initially annoyed that I had to pack a dress and heels to go to this restaurant – by the end of the night I’m happy that I went here for dinner. I would definitely go back. What I liked: -The clam chowder was excellent – I guess we’re really in Boston! - well seasoned and... More

I had one of the best steaks I have ever had. The meal and the service were second too none. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals The cold seafood bucket we had at the bar was excellent too. Anyone wanting an "excellent" old fashioned steak should try Grill 23 & Bar. You will not be disappointed. It is expensive... More
