Business Trip Dinner with Team

The food was Outstanding. We were there with a huge group and no one person had a bad meal. The Apps were good and the wine as well. The service was good not super friendly but no un-friendly either. You can't go wrong here we had everything from Veal to Pasta and Seafood all great.

Went on recommendation of a friend and based on TripAdvisor and open table recent reviews. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Food was solid but nothing epic. The bread basket served was very good as was the Fried Calamari -light and the marinara was excellent. The Parmigiana's and Scampi were OK. Nothing bad but nothing to rave about. I would not run... Stopped in this establishment during our visit to North Boston. A very authentic Boston Italian restaurant. We ordered wine and drinks and looked over the menu. We ordered an anitpasto and our meals and enjoyed the ambiance. The antipasto arrived and was huge. It was delicious except for the tuna fish that was layered across it. Kind of different than... We went to Mother Anna's for an early dinner. We were seated as a party of 16 in the downstairs dining room. We were taken care of by an awesome staff. They made you feel right at home. Took our orders, filled our drinks, and brought out lots of bread. The antipasto was amazing. It was huge and served lots... More

showed up on time with a reservation and promptly seated..the food was excellent. The salad was crisp and very fresh...a pleasant surprise... Our main courses (the daily tortellini special and egg coated veal) were as good as in Italy (we have been there many times). Service from Jason (Guiseppe) was prompt, friendly and informed . The place has been going... More

I ordered linguine with meatball and was surprised with the size of the bowl and food. The pasta was delicious but I couldn't finish the whole thing becuz of too much portion. I think the restaurateur should be less generous for the environment sake.

We made a reservation about two hours in advance for seven people. The restaurant was very accommodating. Our waiter looked like Dustin Hoffman. He was very friendly and even did a Rainman impression. That was the icing on the cake! The food was delicious. I had a shrimp Caesar salad. The shrimp was large, juicy and seasoned to perfection, the... More

Overall good experience. Visited on a Sunday night - had a reservation but likely wasn't needed. Friendly service without hovering. We had a bottle of the Montepulciano, shrimp and clam napolitano, gnocchi Juliana, and a mushroom tortellini special with mushrooms, artichokes , and sundried tomato. Everything was delicious - sadly we were unable to take our leftovers since we were... More

Dropped in on a glorious sunny fall lunchtime for a light meal. We shared grilled prawns in a tomato and garlic sauce and calamari Fritti. Both were outstandingly good and perfectly cooked with probably the best accompanying sauces we have tasted. We had to request more bread in order that we did not leave a drop! The menu looked very... More

Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
