Excellent Lunch Spot

I needed to get out of the hotel for a quick lunch while at a conference workshop. Found Parish a block away, near the Common. I'm glad I did. This restaurant is unique in that it combines all of the best sandwiches from around Boston. I personally had the Mexican Meatball and it was delicious. Nice relaxing atmosphere and decent prices.

I really like the sandwiches at this place. Each sandwich is a local chef creation. If you are strolling around Boston Commons on a warm day, it might not hurt to stop here for a bite. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

I think that Parish cafe has some of the best sandwiches I have ever had in a restaurant and for really reasonable prices! Whenever I have friends in town, I always take them to Parish Cafe and they love the food! I highly recommend their staple Parish Chicken Sandwich. It is amazing and the potato salad that comes on the... More

We happened upon this place on Boylston St. because it wasn't far from our hotel and it was freezing out with a wind advisory. We were very pleased. It's a very small place that serves comfort food-I had the half dish of mac and cheese and it was perfect for a cold winter night! The music was a blend of... More

Ate at Parish with our family while on a little Boston trip. Very cool atmosphere- kind of farmhouse meets industrial meets modern. They offer a respectable array of draught and bottled beers as well as hand-crafted cocktails. Their servers are extremely friendly and helpful. The reason to go to Parish, though, is for the food. Sandwiches, designed by many of... More

I ate at the Parish Cafe last week, it was crowded and had a friendly pub -like atmosphere with amazingly delicious and eclectic sandwiches. My daughter and I had the "Benny," a Vietnamese- style chicken sandwich with veggies, a mint mayo with a side salad of cabbage, basil and mint, very fresh. My brother- in- law had a steak sandwich... I will had to admit that I had been disappointed in craft beer selections at the restaurants and hotel bar where we were staying. My sales rep recommended this place to me that was. Half of block from our hotel for it beer selection and wonderful food. He was not wrong. I came with a group of beer lovers from... More

Had lunch yesterday with friends before Christmas shopping. Server was hospitable, very friendly and efficient. Menu is varied and quite eclectic. We all had sandwiches which were bursting with fresh ingredients and accompanied with delicious potato salad....thoroughly enjoyed the experience! a must try!

Local chefs have created amazing sandwiches....almost seems like a competition of who could be more creative with a plain old sandwich - I could eat here everyday.
