If you're looking for a good southwestern / mexican meal, served in a casual / chic environment, Cottonwood is the place to go. We were expecting a nice outdoor venue with renowned margaritas. To our dismay we found the service lacking, the food below average, and the margaritas were not something to write home about. Hardly the "best margaritas in Boston." Go somewhere else. more

Cottonwood is in a nice part of Boston. The restaurant atmosphere is nice, the staff are nice as well. My main problem with Cottonwood is that there are plenty of other places in Boston that do the Texmex style food better and at better prices. Fajitas and Ritas, Anna's Taqueira. The only mistake here was leaving our visit to the last day of our holiday ion Boston. The food was stunning; inventive, carfully cooked, beautifully presented.
