Well.... our waiter appeared a little nervous and uneducated about the food he was serving but, his querkyness made up for it. The decor was nice and fit the food they served. The location of the restaurant was right next to Boston Commons Park, which was nice and within walking distance to the Wilbur Theater. The food was... nice but... More

Troquet is one of my all time favorite bars in Boston. It is always nice and quiet, it is truly a hidden gem. Pop in for a flight of wine. They have some fantastic wines to choose from. The Sauvignon Blanc sampler is fantastic as well. Also request a free sample of the nuts - they melt in your mouth... More

The food was excellent, especially the pumpkin soup that was 'to die for' and the bavarian lemon dessert . Good dining choice for the theatre district.

This is, as others have said, a great restaurant - with a lovely view over the Common - but I feel it just falls short of excellent in terms of food, service and ambience. Great wine list.

We dined here for a very special dinner and the intimate setting and very friendly staff made the evening. The food was exceptional and they even had our favourite champagne. My only complaint is that they only had half bottles and not full bottles but we got round that by having 2!

Our favorite Boston wine - food venue, bar none. We've dined at the French Laundry in California & feel Troquet is equally as fabulous...but it's local and less pricey. Don't miss the tasting menu, and go for the recommended wine pairings for each dish. Outstanding! The food is as beautiful as it is delicious. We took pictures! The wines ?... More

The service was professional but scattered. The issue was that they were trying to close the restaurant while still attending to diners. The service felt rushed, there was an uneasy pacing to everything. Plus, there was much storing of table dressing, cleaning of this or that, etc. We made a reservation, mind you, so my view is if you accept... More

Had dinner with my wife before going to the theatre in Boston. The owner saw that we were visiting from Australia and gave us a wonderful table with a view of Boston Common. The food was wonderful and the service was warm and professional. I would certainly recommend the restaurant to those visiting this great city.

Recently went with a group of associates for dinner after attending a conference in the area. I ordered the Scallops and they were amazing. The service was Fantastic! I have been trying to find excuses to return since my last visit and can't wait until my next.

Went here on recommendation and was not disappointed. Intimate dining room overlooking the Common. Food was well-prepared and delicious. Service attentive.
