Great craft beer and inventive pub menu selections

Great pub, craft beer choice was excellent, food more inventive pub fare. I had fried oyster tacos, someone else enjoyed the hot wings. My kids were with us, they have a selection of different root beers. Our waitress was attentive.

We arrived in Boston to meet friends at the airport and remembered a great experience from some years ago at the Boston Beer Works. In a nostalgic moment we decided to catch a quick lunch at the Boston Beer Works before heading off to a week on the Cape. What a treat. The outdoor patio is shaded and pleasant for... More

We stopped in to wet our whistle on a warm August day, and were impressed with the setting. A working brewery, with lots of vibe. They offer about six different IPA options, and all that we tried were excellent. The staff is nice, but will not win any hospitality awards anytime soon. Somewhat accommodating, but not so interested in the... More

A Wednesday night visit in early March while I was in Boston for just once evening. Having read a few beer blogs I decided this was my best bet for good beer and food all under 1 roof in Boston centre. Basketball was being played at the local TD Arena, I arrived just as all of the fans were departing... More

Beer was good -- nothing terribly fancy or interesting, but good. Staff was extremely friendly. The atmosphere and the food were average. Good spot if you are looking for a casual meal or to grab a beer and visit.

This place definitely knows its beer, and the food is better than your average bar stuff too. I really enjoyed my mashed potato, bacon and cheddar spring rolls while trying a sampler rack of beers. The beer is brewed at the back of the bar so freshness is not going to be a problem. Definitely worth a visit. Or multiple... More

What a great place. The beer menu has so many choices and the staff are so knowledgeable on what each beer would be best for you based on your likes. I enjoyed their Watermelon Summer Beer. Very refreshing and crisp. We stopped in a few times on it Boston trip because I just loved that beer. Also recommend to try... More

We walked by after lunch at another place and decided this was our dinner stop. We were glad we did. Great atmosphere, great staff and great food. The make their own beer right there and have many great choices. Prices are very reasonable.

We were given the name of this place from our hotel front desk as somewhere to go after the U2 concert that would have good food and not have dance music blasting. They were right on point! After Tuesday's show, it was about a 6 or 7 minute walk from TD Garden. Outdoor dining had been shut down (local ordinance... More

Ate dinner here before a U2 concert at the Garden on July 14. A solid beer menu of in-house brews (including two gluten free beers). They had multiple examples of different beer styles (six different IPAs alone)! The food menu was better than the average brew pub grub, and the menu indicated they can make changes for those guests with... More
