My wife and I recently had dinner at Mistral and very much enjoyed the experience. She got the swordfish and I had the beef and both dishes were very good. Waitstaff were very attentive without being overbearing. Make sure you have a reservation.

This restaurant is a Boston classic. So many restaurants try to showcase the ingredients or the plating or the fame of the chef. At Mistrall the food is the center of attention and it is always delicious.

This was our second visit to Mistral. Once again, the dinners were perfection. We had the tenderloin and the bronzino. Both were the best we have ever tasted. And the lobster bisque en croute was amazing. The presentation of all was beautiful. The server was so attentive without being intrusive.

The best part of ladies night with my 10 girls is the flexibility to have a round table for dinner and Mistral had that! The food was excellent and came out well paced. I am a vegitarian and I didnt have as many options as I would in comprable fine dining resturants but my appitizer was excellent and the cheese... More

I had dinner at Mistral with a friend from Tokyo. The menu and selection of wines and cocktails were well constructed and extensive. The wine list provided many choices with prices ranging from moderate-high. The shared appetizers, main course, and dessert were well executed and presented. Table service was pitch-perfect--mature and competent, and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was... More

Was in town for business and a local colleague suggested having dinner meeting here. Excellent choice! Food is fresh and prepared impeccably. Service is courteous and professional. Atmosphere is what you would expect of a top notch restaurant.

We were visiting Boston for a business meeting, and decided to try Mistrial after seeing the great reviews! They definitely didn't let us down! The meal was great! I got the Halibut and it was so fresh tasting and delicious. I also had the Belgium Chocolate Sorbet for desert which I highly suggest! The restaurant had a great atmosphere, it's... More

It was my first time at Mistral. The food was well presented, a nice menu not inexpensive but the quality and portions were good. I recommend the duck and the Tenderloin and as an appetizer the pizza.

I had a dinner with a friend and his wife and we had appetizer, main course and dessert. The food was excellent and for the size of the restaurant surprising that they serve it in this high quality. We all were very happy with the dishes and I also tried a bit of the others (Carpaccio, Roasted Duck, Halibut and... More

We have been to Mistral several times. Each time has been wonderful. Last night we had dinner there for our 48th wedding anniversary. I had seared foie gras with confit of duck in brioche, wisconsin dried cherry gastrique for my appetizer and grilled faroe island salmon with red kuri squash, beech mushrooms, marsala & sage for my entree. My wife... More
