Amazing meal!

My husband and I went to Mistral for our anniversary and it was a memorable meal. We made reservations since it was a Saturday night and they took us as soon as we arrived. The servers were very attentive. My husband and I couldn't decide what to order as there were so many choices. His martini was... read more

Returned to Mistral for dinner after an absence of several years. It's as great as ever. Great menu, wine list, staff. The lamb is better than I've had anywhere, even Colorado. The seared foie gras is fabulous. The duck was perfection. This might just be the best restaurant in Boston.

A friend and I went super early on a Friday night before a 7:30 show. We shared the escargot to start which was fabulous. I had sea bass in a lime ginger sauce which was amazing (friend had a flatbread and seemed to enjoy). Then we wrapped up with the strawberry rhubarb tart which was a perfect balance of tart... More

We booked this restaurant months ago on the basis of reviews and were not disappointed. It is a short walk from Copley Square and based in what was an old bicycle factory, although it is now a very elegant restaurant with high ceilings and columns. We sat and had a cocktail while the table was prepared. The restaurant was packed... More

We returned to Mistral in mid-May for a graduation celebration. The dining room is spacious and well lit. The service was well manned and extremely attentive. My wife had the Dover sole flown in that day from the Faroe Islands. I had swordfish with Manila clams and chorizo over a pepper and tomato base. Outstanding! Desert was a rhubarb and... More

My friend told me don´t leave Boston without trying Mistral. We had a late nigth romantic dinner on friday. we arrived early and sat at the bar. Plenty of options. In the table we had foie gras and escargot, among the best we ever had. Lamb and sirloin with an Amarone wine. This is probably the kind of place that... More

From the moment that a cheerful valet parks your car, through an elegant meal served with impeccable and gracious style, to a pleasant farewell from the young women at the reservation desk --- this remains one of the best fine dining experiences in Boston. The setting is elegant, but as my wife remarked, also has a neighborhood restaurant ambience. The... More

The décor is lovely, tables are nicely spaced, and the room is quiet enough to allow for easy conversation. The appetizer salad was beautifully composed. The wine list has a plentiful array of great choices. My tenderloin was perfectly cooked and one of the choicest pieces of beef I've ever had. The horseradish baked potato was heavenly, and the accompanying... More

Birthday dinner with my husband and son on Sunday night. The restaurant was about 3/4 full around 7 pm. so busy, but not crazy, which was nice. The food was very good starting with the escargot, tuna tartar and beef carpaccio. The main course of halibut & lobster risotto was excellent and the grilled beef tenderloin was nicely prepared. Good... More

I went there with my wife for Sunday brunch. I had the homemade cinnamon rolls and the Duck Confit & root vegetable hash. My wife had the traditional eggs bene & the homemade coconut donuts. OMG. Bloody Maria made with Tequila and fresh Jalapeno. Great brunch.
