I have never been disappointed when dining at Mistral. Whether steak, duck, pork, seafood....everything has been excellent. Most restaurants now lower their quality for Restaurant Week, but Mistral serves dishes that they offer at other times. While normally pricey, but still worth it, during restaurant week it is the best bargain in town. Price reflects dining during restaurant week.

Mistral was disappointing, especially after all the raves I had heard. It was an interesting place décor-wise. The food was okay but not really anything to rave about. The service left much to be desired. I was in a group of eight and not all the appetizers came out at the same time. Indeed, one came while main courses were... More

Although Open Table says Mistral is "French", the menu is more of a Mediterranean cuisine. All good, but seeing pizza and French cooking together is a bit disturbing. However, thdbusiness meeting I had went well. I ordered the grilled Cornish Hen. My wife ordered the pasta, while my business associate ordered the Salmon. All good. Even the ravioli appetizer and... If you're a fan of brunch with an elevated twist, and not just typical omelette and pancake fare, then Mistral is for you. There are a number of starters ranging from a truffled deviled egg, to fresh, hot cinnamon buns. Either way, you're treated to a warm, muffin sized coffee cake, with butter and strawberry rhubarb jam, helpful as you... More

If you're lucky enough to be in Boston on a Sunday morning, definitely DEFINITELY book a brunch at Mistral. I couldn't pick what's best: the food execution, the service, the gorgeous interior. Plus, I can't stand rating a restaurant on portion size, but the portions here are ridiculous. I've never seen such large portions in a fine dining establishment. Kinda... More

Looking for a place in Boston to celebrate a raise, engagement, the holidays? This is it. They have an extensive menu and a great bar. It isn't just trendy foods - it's French with a flair and the lobster bisque was outstanding.

We had heard a lot about this place so we included it in our special birthday trip for our husbands. Service was not good. In fact our server disappeared and we did not see him till the end of our meal. Food was just ok. One of the entrees was missing some of the sides that were suppose to be... More

This place is beautiful, the service is amazing and the presentation and quality of the food is outstanding. They only have brunch on Sundays from 10:30 am to 2pm. You definitely need to make a reservation, as it is almost always full. I've been there several times, one of those, they were so busy that one of the orders god... More
