One of the very best in Boston

Went for Sunday Brunch. Awesome from the bloody Mary's to the coffee. Started with tall Bloody's which were just the right amount of spice and bite. Then had the cinnamon buns that were amazing - it comes with two "small" buns which is plenty for 2-3 people. Then had the Salmon Benedict which was... read more

We make it to Mistral once a year and wonder each time why we don't go more often. The decor is exactly the way we like it - elegant but not stuffy, earthy tones, high ceilings. The drinks are well crafted and strong. The wine list is well rounded but reasonably priced. The food is always outrageously good. The bread... More

We visited Mistral on a Saturday evening, having made reservations well in advance. We were promised an intimate table for two, as we were celebrating a birthday. The staff delivered in every possible way! The setting was lovely, the wait staff impeccable yet friendly and engaging. The food was amazing! We decided that the swordfish one of us ordered was,... This restaurant has long been in my to-try list and I have to say that I was not disappointed. Although the evening started not so well (despite the reservation and being there on time, the host people accommodated several parties of the same size that came after us while we were left waiting for a while; the corner table next... My husband and I recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner sitting at the bar. Despite the fact that it was restaurant week, the service was outstanding - by both the bartender and the kitchen. If you like pasta, you have to try the crab ravioli app and the linguine entre -- both simple dishes but elegant and incredibly flavorful.

I expected a lot from Mistral and was more than pleased by the meal. Instead of the Bistro feel of many of the French restaurants in the Back Bay/South End such as Aquitaine, Mistral has more of a modern vibe with lounge-y music and aesthetically pleasing, angular interior design. Service was top notch, the cocktails were good, and the restaurant... More

The food was phenomenal - presented very well - taste impeccable. Ordered the lamb rare and they pulled it off well. The foie gras is a great deal on the appetizer menu. It was fantastic. They really know what they are doing.

Went here this morning for brunch. Restaurant was very busy. They do a good business for Sunday brunch. Nice selection of entrees, but very pricey. $19 frittata, $16 eggs Benedict, and many more dishes more costly than these. Food was tasty, tables were crowded together, service was fair. It was good, but for the money I would definitely head elsewhere.

We were seated in the lounge, which turned out to be great, very comfy and cozy couch. Waitress was so helpful and friendly. Food was fantastic, fantastic! Most definitely go back!

Our first time at Mistral. It was a wonderful experience. The menu was amazing and we were in a bind on what to order. The Lamb rack was delicious!! We will certainly plan another visit to Mistral soon! Would highly recommend for a fun after work dinner with friends as well.
