I've reviewed Mistral before and always found it lovely. Amazingly, so do my kids and we've done some great food exploration/fancy restaurant behavior training here. As soon as the deer-in-the-headlights fear passes from the waiter's eyes (when he realizes my kids are ordering real food that they actually enjoy from the main menu and not buttered pasta) we have a... My husband and I were visiting the area and chose to come here for dinner one night. Reservations recommended as it was very busy. The service was a bit slow to start (nearly 10 minutes seated with no waiter to our table). After that, service was much better. I had the corn soup with lobster to start which was delicious... We came to Boston after a few days in and around Cape Cod and after a Google search we decided on Mistral. First off, I'd like to say two things: Thing number one: I've never been to Boston before or dined out at a high end restaurant in the US Thing number two: I live in London (not that this... More

The restaurant is beautifully designed and serves wonderfully tasty food. I loved the fact that many of main courses were based on clean, healthy salads rather than traditional potatoes and other carbs. Unfortunately they did get one of the main courses wrong, but they were very apologetic, adjusted the check and it's beautiful flavour more than made up for the... More

Lovely ambiance, delicious food and great service. Sadly experience was ruined by having my credit card cloned by one of the waitrons.

Had Sunday brunch there. Good solid menu, although nothing spectacular. Can't really comment on the dinner.

I had a dinner with my wife. All the receptionists were beautiful and friendly and we were guided to the table at the back side of the dining hall. I loved the soup with lobster with (maybe) fresh coriander flavors in slightly sweet soup. For the main course, the grilled salmon and lamb chops were big portions and delicious. I... More

Last night was a special treat...off to Boston from the suburbs for some fabulous food. We were seated in a table of two with lots of other table for two lined up to our left and right along a couch. Hmmm....we were early so no problem. I had the corn soup which was fabulous, husband had the duck, fabulous. For... More

Let me start off by saying some of the negative reviews around this place, make you stop and question whether or not its worth even visiting. But, once you get in, the experience starts and the flavours do all the talking. This place is beautiful, the crowd was definitely dressed very nicely, but nothing over the top. The prices on...
