RESERVATIONS are a must! We had them, but we heard the hostess telling people at 7:30 that there wouldn't be tables open until after 10pm! The meal was great and the service was excellent. Nice wine and cocktail list, great mood and ambiance inside.

When we travel we usually only visit a restaurant once to ensure we enjoy as many as possible. Here we have the exception. The food is beautiful, creative and a taste sensation. Staff top notch and great and affordable. Justifiably one of Bostons top restaurants, so convenient to Copley Square

It was OK. Nothing fantastic and our fish was overcooked. The spearmint pie was the best and clam chowder was not bad too

We returned to this restaurant (close to the Lenox hotel) and it was another wonderful meal. Caroline at the front desk was very helpful and welcoming as was our server, Nicholas. Scallops were delicious as was the blackened salmon. The corn pudding side is not to be missed. Only criticism would be on the gnocchi- I didn't care for lemon... More

On a recent trip to America, we got talking to someone in New York who, when he found out we were off to Boston could not recommend this restaurant highly enough. We spoke to a member of staff at our hotel who asked what our plans were after leaving NY, and when she found out we were off to Boston,... More

The food here is always good, but you really should get reservations in advance. (If you want to eat at "normal" dinner hours, you better call more than a day in advance. I called 24 hours prior and I was offered 5:30 or 8:30pm - on a Tuesday night.) I used to consider this place "great", but extreme busyness might... More

I was lucky enough to be in Boston during a wonderful warm spell in October. This allowed us to eat on the patio and enjoy our meal with the smells of fall in New England. After a busy day on the Freedom Trail I wanted a light meal and will tell you that the lobster salad I ordered was perfect!... More

Some of the best seafood I have ever had!!!! Great dining experience!!! I highly recommend reservations as they seem to be very popular and now I know why! The outdoor seating is nice as well if weather permits and it is a first come first serve basis. That is how we were able to get in. Seriously, the food is... More

This is my kind of restaurant. Elegant but not over fussy, good food and sadly, non-professional service, but they do try. This was the place I was looking for when I went to Legal Seafood across the street. It delivers a great seafood menu and experience with some nice touches. I would definitely go back and hope for better seating... More

We really had to juggle to even get a reservation here and based on recommendations as well as the difficulty in even getting in, assumed it would be a superb experience. Unfortunately that was not to be. Although the service was prompt and efficient, the place was jammed packed crowded which led to a complete lack of intimacy and difficulty... More
