The meal and service were both great. I had just finished my clam chowder when an acquaintance walked in and joined me; the service staff made the addition seamlessly and served my excellent scallops with her soup. The atmosphere left much to be desired.....even a screen between the bar area and the restaurant would be an improvement ......they could take... More

We had dinner here after seeing the Lion King. We knew it would be pricy so we decided to split a few apps and keep it simple. We were delighted that they had a kids buffet set up for $10. My 5 year old was excited at all the kid friendly choices. Chicken tenders, mac and cheese, mini cheese burgers,... More

Makes sure you ask for William as your server. He is on top of everything to ensure you receive speedy but yet great service! William has been there for over 19 years. His knowledge of what Avenue One has to offer is extensive. Food is good not sure about a lot of variety when it comes to the buffet ($24.99... More

Chef Armetta has come up with a fantastic menu for Avenue One and I was treated to a sampler plate. Clam chowder, succulent chicken, beef and fish and desserts tto make you weep. I was full to the brim but happy as a Boston clam!

Many Hotel Dining Rooms leave something to be desired. Not so with Avenue One. Wonderful locally sourced food, attentive and creative staff. There are many wonderful places to dine in Boston Add Avenue One to your list. You will not be disappointed.

Tried this place for lunch at the bar and for breakfast while we stayed at the Hyatt Regency. We shared the Steak Frites entre and had a couple of drinks. This dish was delicious and quite spicy with an ample portion. The atmosphere is excellent with a friendly and charismatic wait staff/barkeep. Based on our positive experience with lunch, we... More

Had dinner here recently with a party of four during a very quiet weeknight. There were only 3 other occupied tables. The dining room is nice and right off the lobby of the Hyatt Boston. The menu is excellent with something for everyone, and the staff very nice. Strangely, despite the absence of other diners, the food service was quite... More

Brought friends from out of town and wow were they happy. From the initial interaction with the staff, right through the meal, everything was on point. So good that they went back later on vacation and ate there again!!!

Ate here for dinner on Valentine's Day and the romantic touches were so appreciated! Candy dishes at each table and a rose upon departure. Highly recommend the Tender Tips and Lobster & Crab Fondue. Our server was THE BEST! We wish he could have sat down and joined us for dinner!
